honestly i'm so much more excited about the development of the girls' relationship than the guys, like i'm rooting for the guys 'n all but the girls have a budding relationship with so many different possibilities...
also you don't see enough wlw relationships being normalized in manga which is a damn shame imo
ok so their relationship is cute or whatever, but i could not fucking stand how everyone kept on misgendering ms. fujimine.
like for the most part they gender her correctly, so the misgendering feel ooc (besides ryo, don't ask why) on top of being a shitty thing to do.
i don't really like her, she has a lack of boundaries, and a full-on workplace sexual harasser but deadnaming her? calling her a man?? seriously??? uncool.
maybe it's an issue with translation in some cases, but mr. tokura intentionally deadnaming her didn't seem to be.
just,, really didn't want this swept under the rug
~~
mr. tokura deadnamed ms. fujimine here

or how ryo called ms. fujimine a man here
http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/24_jikan_ochi_nai_kiss/uu/ibx_chapter-6/pg-26/
i mean hisashi was kind of excusable because he hadn't seen her in a bit
http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/24_jikan_ochi_nai_kiss/uu/ibx_chapter-9/pg-8/
----but then ryo says she's gay as well which is like?? no? not that you know of? also this is bi erasure bc both ryo and hisashi are bi????
http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/24_jikan_ochi_nai_kiss/uu/ibx_chapter-9/pg-9/
and the amount of times mr. tokura calls her a "queen" (i'm pretty sure this is the translators not wanting to write the english equivalent of new-half or smthn, but i may be wrong)
yeah this also bothered me a lot. the relationship and the story aside from that was really cute, but it just shows that there’s still so much stigma and normalization of disrespect towards trans people and their rights :/
