i feel like only minamoto actually has a fighting chance, and it’s my personal bias but i don’t think anyone would be able to successfully establish a flag with mc, because unbeknownst to him he is protected by a very strong protagonist halo that has established him too well as the professional flag breaker, so side characters like hatano would probably just be another flag to overcome after he’s achieved a happy ending? and MC will be the first crush that’s occasionally mentioned in flashbacks or so he hopes, but as a result hatano gives a sort of final boss kind of impression so i’m afraid after the manga might end the moment he succeeds in breaking that flag… minamoto would probably end up with mayama, because those two aren’t paired yet and since minamoto knows MC’s thoughts they would kind of be like tojo and MC’s relationship? MC would predict all his relationship troubles and understand the woes of living in a BL world since minamoto has been inconvenienced by the world’s setting and even though MC thinks he draws a good line and claims he’s straight he lets his guards down and ends up in situations but will continue to be able to dodge them because his protagonist halo is really strong, but then once the manga ends he’s no longer the protagonist, so the author would eventually write a spin-off where, in a twist of fate, he falls into an unbreakable flag that he had previously dismissed like his red string of fate being tied to a yakuza or being the fated mate of a god in another world but since it isn’t an explicit manga it probably wouldn’t be something dark like ceo kidnaps his secretary especially since he has a uber capable brother in law like tojo who will have no choice to save him because his little brother would be worried, but i do think that it would be funny if he ended up in a setting with mpreg and be vehemently against it, and somehow falls in love with his soulmate and say something like “ah, i somehow captured the flag in the end” while giving birth to his second child or something haha

Hatano has defied MC's expectations and has never been creepy or weird when MC expected him to be. He's a sweet boy and he deserves a sweet partner. If he doesn't get someone that will treat him preciously I'm gonna be so sad Hatano deserves the best of the best!!!

That ending was a total cop out.
It would've been fine if Deku had just become a teacher - not the best ending, and not that realistic, but sure, I can see how he fits that role and how it would allow him to continue being a "hero", at least to his students. So, thematically, makes sense! I can get behind it!
But now, at the very last beat, there's suddenly a new *suit?* I know there have been may other suits and stuff but this just undermines the whole theme of Deku losing his quirk(s) and turning into a teacher (and yadda yadda). If Horikoshi wanted him to be a hero by the end of the manga, he could've just never stopped being one if you want the fact he is now quirkless to make sense, then you should've *leave* him like that! It's the same thing as when author's kill off a character just to bring them back: what was the point, then?

I admit I would've liked to just see Deku live out his dream of being a hero, sure, but him becoming a teacher was also an ending I could get behind. *This* ending, however, the one we got, feels like it half asses both possibilities.

Shit ass ending why does only the heros get a good ending? Not even genuinely the most good heros too why is Endeavor still alive?? He beat his kids and implied his wife to make Todoroki. It makes me so mad that the family never got to fully escape him nor will Endeavor actually pay for his crimes. Who cares if his mental suffering (FROM HIS OWN ACTIONS, MIND YOU) is considered "redemption" you can't redeem yourself from that. Hawks became the leader of the foundation that saw him as an evil person- or forced him to be evil and murder a good man who WOULD'VE been saved if he was a hero but those flop ass hero society don't know how to deal with people who have mental illnesses it's just villains to them (bring my man back he ain't do nothing wrong besides murder)


All being said and done the LOV was literally just traumatised people who didn't have the heros reach out in their time of need when they most needed it , or people who was outlasted because of their unique traits that shit literally could've been one of the ua children like gay ass oui oui dude. HE LITERALLY SOLD OUT HIS CLASS AND UA WHY IS HE GETTING A DECENT END TOO.
