Am I the only one who tries to read novels, but my attention span is so short that I kinda get distracted by other things and then get confused in the story? I hope this doesn’t sound wrong, I’m not saying I won’t read the novel but I just want to see if anyone shares the same experience as me. ┗( T﹏T )┛
Me, totally! i would read like half a page just fine but theni will zone out WHILE reading and when i go back to reality i don't seem to remember the other half i just read... i hate myself so much for that. (But that doesnt happen with manga or translations from visual novels... i guess i need pictures? lmao)
Lol that was me when I started out reading the MDZS novel, but after a few chapters I became so invested that it wasn't even a problem anymore. If you keep getting distracted, it's not a problem since you can just read the manhua instead or watch the donghua, but they won't be exactly like the novel. If you do decide to read the novel in the future, I hope you enjoy! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Same! I totally zoned out through entire chapters the first time I read the novel! But on my second time reading it for whatever reason i had way better focus. I swear there were whole arcs that it was as if I had never read it before! Plus I don't read/watch as much Chinese content compared to all the Korean and Japanese content I consume so Chinese names can really confuse me so I totally get lost on which character is which causing me to zone out even more!
