To be honest I feel like the problem was more the fact that there was absolutely no black character in this manhua and the only time there is one he is the bad guy. The author could have used the manhua to talk about racism against black people in Korea which, let's be real, is way more common than what he wrote. But the more important was that he used the N-word, I think that's the main reason he received backlash not the story on itself

We know that not only black people or Asian people deal with racism but this author really put a black character in Korea and made him the perpetrator rather than the victim, while we know damn well in Korea, it’s the black person who is most likely to be a victim of racism. That is the issue.

not gonna be quiet as i said its my own opinion but i agree with u about korea being racist still i just think its an interesting point of view and i dont really mind if it was a black person white or yellow i found the story interesting and thats that but one of the replies did mention that people are upset because the only time a black character was mentioned was for a kind of case that doesnt happen often especially in korea its understandable people are upset i found it a bit weird too but it may be that the author is simply not well versed in that topic and just wanted to do its part i can also see how that looks impossible with the technology we all have today but u never know about it and i dont really like to guess what other person anyway thanks for ur comment it made me see the issue with the arc from another point of view

In the novel, he eventually sentenced Rose to her death and she became infertile. The empress is slowly gaining her evidence. Their relationship slowly becomes a lot better and there’s better communication. The ml tries his best to make up for his past deeds. He obviously isn’t perfect but as long as he makes the effort, things get better. Plus what happened in the past hasn’t happened. It’s different but I understand why some hate him. I hated him too. The novel is free btw. Just look it up.

I get it to why some people hate it but as long as the twins forgive him who are we to not and we can see that they are quite determined in revenge so if they slowly forgive him i think they have super strong reasons

I’m sure that when he does that ppl will happily agree that Rose deserves to die and being infertile, but come on, if you think it on the King’s pov, in the past, he was tricked by Rose and he believes that she’s innocent and cute while Nilla is indeed the villain in his eyes (bullying his cute lover/ reminding him of his abusive mother/ being cruel to the servant,…)

No one blamed any crimes he did, like killing children and breaking other gods temples.
What they did do a mistake was not considering the entire truth in the trial.
Seth has done a lot of killing in his loneliness . So, the other Gods are trying to get Seth off the throne and let him take a small break from his stress. And, Seth never actually wanted the throne for ruling, he just wants the throne so that no one will attack his current mental state. So one one will ever question him. Like that.
