i dont care what people think fl is strong in her own right it is very realistic the way she got over her fear despair and love for fabian she was betrayed abandoned framed poisoned imprisoned draged around nearly died twice she isnt a damsdel in distress simply because the male lead saved her life like come on was he supposed to let her die or what she is slowly but surely getting herself up i cant wait for her charcter development and it tkes serious guts to love again after being betrayed and almost losing your life because of said betrayale im cheering for her and mL(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
to be fr the language was extreme but i found the arc interesting cause in reality we all have seen people who are suposedly a minority who haven been living a comfortable life who do bullshit like that and than blame it to racism they have supposedly dealt with
i am not black nor asian but i have dealt with racism myself but if i had never dealt with it and i acted like the black character in that arc u all would find it annoying i wanted to see the end even if it was extreme in the dialogue i wanted to see how daniel would solve it without violence
if you dont agree with me thats completely fine its my own opinion
Absolutely!!!
But this is also good, something is better than nothing after all.
agreed at least we had a glimse of this kind of issue
Ikr!!
For realll.. and I don't think it will not have the same impact if it were about Muslim. Cuz sometimes they just turn into blind eye when talk about muslim
To be honest I feel like the problem was more the fact that there was absolutely no black character in this manhua and the only time there is one he is the bad guy. The author could have used the manhua to talk about racism against black people in Korea which, let's be real, is way more common than what he wrote. But the more important was that he used the N-word, I think that's the main reason he received backlash not the story on itself
Oh please be quiet. We know that not only black people or Asian people deal with racism but this author really put a black character in Korea and made him the perpetrator rather than the victim, while we know damn well in Korea, it’s the black person who is most likely to be a victim of racism. That is the issue.
Thisss!!! Right here exactly they r so racist over there and if u go on the Raws the chapter comments all the comments r racist and they wanna be the victim it’s crazy makes no sense to me
not gonna be quiet as i said its my own opinion but i agree with u about korea being racist still i just think its an interesting point of view and i dont really mind if it was a black person white or yellow i found the story interesting and thats that but one of the replies did mention that people are upset because the only time a black character was mentioned was for a kind of case that doesnt happen often especially in korea its understandable people are upset i found it a bit weird too but it may be that the author is simply not well versed in that topic and just wanted to do its part i can also see how that looks impossible with the technology we all have today but u never know about it and i dont really like to guess what other person anyway thanks for ur comment it made me see the issue with the arc from another point of view
idk what to reply exept ur right i just find it rash that people are jumping at the author and not even giving him a chance to fix the mistake i found the story interesting i really wanted to see how it would play out but it was a bit out of pocket so i guess its better that way i hope they rerwite it i wanna see daniel in action
i like to think its getting better slowly but if its offending my religion i just drop the whole story all together idc anymore past that
