Maybe hes verse

It was not originally planned by the author for this story to have the typical fairytale happy ending.However she had to listen to her editors and do what is the most popular.You can tell by the rushed ending that the artist was really tired and wanted this over with.Recently there has been a lot of drama with Lezhin and how they take advantage of the artists.Not only they aren't paid properly but Lezhin doesn't completely allow them freedom of artistic expression.

Wow, a petition about financial issues at Lezhin, retweeted by the author of Killing Stalking, after Dark Heaven is already over. Much facts, great research.

Dark Heaven's ending was very rushed.Because in the official website the sales were pretty low especially for the BL category.Juns is infamous for deleting her tweets like cazy.However she posted this https://twitter.com/yousowol/status/938049154420424704 which if im not mistaken says that Lezhin comics pays artists after they have worked with them for two years.Anyways the thing that im sure of is that if you check Koogi's twitter and other artists (who have works in Lezhin) twitters you will see that they have links to Lezhin which means that they still have contracts with Lezhin.Juns doesn't have a contract anymore.And she remains quite about whether she will work with Lezhin again or not.She has links only to her facebook and to her blog naver for buisness inquiries.

You don't seem to understand.it's not only about financial issues but also for restraining contracts, for severe pressure of deadline, for editing and translating works without artists agreement, and also Lezhin gives artists penalty if they can't provide material on scheduled deadline.Also Lezhin has done investments and other profit without informing the artists.Azjuns has announced on her twitter that soon Dark Heaven will be released as a book, not just digitally anymore.In hopes of making money i guess.There are other artists involved not just Koogi.She is their strongest card yet they treat her like that.She knows her popularity that is why she speaks up but there are other artists who don't dare anything because they have contracts with Lezhin and completely depend on that.There is more but im also a busy individual and i can't be bothered too much,however any kind of research it's better than just what you did.

You can believe that in the midst of all these financial problems and controversies Lezhin's editors took the time to force a low-selling BL artist to totally change her intended ending, if that's what helps you sleep at night. They are probably also forcing her to retweet all that lovey-dovey Simon/Conor fanart. That's just the sort of evil thing they would do.

I have seen the post of Lezhin US on Tumblr.They are kinda weird and immature if you ask me with the way they run the blog.They even talked about Sangwoo's booty shorts.I'm pretty sure they are not editors.They are simply Lezhin empoyees who just run the official Lezhin tumblr.They probably have nothing to do with the very complicated practical matters of the company.
I don't like their style.It's very unprofessional.They run the blog simply as fangirls so I don't take anything that they say seriously.
Whatever im not salty im sad for Simon because he is so messed up mentally that even though Conor has destroyed his life Simon still wants to be with him because he obviously doesn't know any better.Conor can't never make up for what he did to Simon.Simon almost died for Conor.Conor will never be able to be equal with that.Simon has had it way worst than Conor and it's not fair for a cunt like Conor to be with a man like Simon.I would have forgiven Conor if he had just that bitch fit that day and he had come back to Simon a few days later apologizing but he didn't do anything for almost a year.He immidiately changed his phone number, his email.He talked to Simon with such cruel words and threw away all their love and relationship for 17 years.Conor didn't even allowed Simon to explain himself.A man who has done so much for him, who has loved and accepted him just the way he was more than anyone else.And yet Conor hurt him so badly.And it's also all the nasty things Conor had done to Simon before their break up.All his racism against Simon.Always pushing Simon away.Always being mad and moody.Taking it all out on Simon.Always being envious of Simon instead of cherishing him,loving him and admiring him.If you love someone you should be proud of them not jealous of them.But Conor looked at Simon and felt inferior.Felt threatened instead of inspired.And Conor never once told or showed Simon that he loved him.
After he abandoned him Conor did his best to forget about him.I don't understand how that makes sense?Why you break up with someone you can't forget?Conor also said that he missed Simon yet he didn't wanted to see him.That doesn't make sense to me.
Conor returned back to Simon and his speech apology whatever was all over the place.First of all he presented him self infront of Simon and told him that he was messed up back then and had pts and stuff which makes people uncapable of maintaining a relationship,however Conor did get into a relationship very soon after he abandoned Simon, not only that but he tried his best for that relationship to work.
It just seems absurd to me that Simon could forgive everything Conor did to him.It's crazy to me how can he trust him again and how will he be able to look at Conor and not be reminded of his traumatic past because of Conor.
It seems to me that Conor went back for egotistical reasons.He told Mona that he will regret it in his entire life if he doesn't approach Simon now.But why didn't he do anything for over half a year?He was busy offering his services to Veronica?Conor approached Simon when the latter was at his worst because only then Conor felt confident and not inferior.It's also really sad that Simon had to be in his death bed in order for Conor to care about him.It's not a realstic relationship nor a story.
I feel bad for Simon and I wonder if he ever goes to therapy will he still have the same thoughts and feelings for Conor?If he actually becomes mentally healthy eventually?
I don't think that Conor deserves to be forgiven about what he did to Simon.He will never be equals with Simon nor good enough to deserve him.There should be a limit to what one can forgive from the other.

Im not salty as said but very sad.Soon i wont even care about this story im sure of it.Because i know it wont be remembered or become a classic or anything like that.
I just expected something different from this story.Not the typical yaoi ending without any explanations,super rushed and with huge time skips.
I will insist though.Before this got translated in English the author was going somewhere else with the story.After the English translations the author's style changed and she was definetly guided by her editors to a great extend.Manhwa is just buisness in the end of the day.You gotta play the save option which is a standard not original happy ending.
I'm simply analyzing this comic and the couple with logic while you are romantisizing stuff such as pain and betrayal.

Lezhin doesn't control Juns twitter and of course all the fan art is simply that.Just fan art.Why is this a big deal? There is lovey dovey fan art of SangBum that Koogi retweets.But that doesn't mean she believes it or supports it.Is just PR.Be in good terms with the fans and always encouragd the kids eif they draw poop.
I don't quite get your point with this exactly.

Just to clear some things up:
-The cover of this comic used here is artwork she made for a convetion. At this point the English translation was already ongoing. She also made several other drawings like the one I have as my profile picture, Simon sitting in a throne etc. She didn't draw it because her original plan was to end the story like this.
-Juns reposted a petition pretty much every Lezhin artist reposted, including Aji. An artist who currently writes her/his second story for Lezhin. Juns hasn't said anything else about Lezhin and it's also not like fans ask her all the time if she'll keep on working for Lezhin. These artists want better working conditions and that's why they protest. If they all wanted to leave Lezhin they would simply leave.
I mean that's the point of a protest. You want to keep your job but you want better conditions.

Wait, I have to correct myself. She'd made it before the English translation was released. However, that doesn't change the fact that it's just artwork and has never been the cover. It's flashback-Conor (he has long hair) not present-time Conor so it's also not supposed to depict the ending of the story. Besides, no artist spoils the ending of the story with the cover-design in such an obvious way.

Lezhin did not take advantage of their artists. Some artists--8 out of 670 to be exact--just got delayed payment by Chinese agencies. All artists that Lezhin directly entered into contracts with HAVE BEEN PAID.

Some artists like Juns were not informed properly before the official translation of their comic begun.It's not illegal but it may cause some artists inconvenience.
The companies supposedly have the right to do that since they own the comics anyways.(In some contracts the copyright for a work sometimes remains to the artist but most of the times in contracts-like Lezhin contracts- the copyright of a work belongs to the company so low key they can do almost whatever they want with it) That is how the industry works.Not only for comics and books but also for movies,tv series,cartoons,anime etc.
Example a movie belongs to its company and not to the people who wrote the screenplay etc.
It's like in other companies when a book is released artists often don't have a say as to which countries their book will be sold or to which languages their book is going to be translated.
In the case of Juns she had evern said in an official q &a that if she knew her story was going to be read by western audiences in English she would had changed many things in her story.
She has mentioned that Dark Heaven is mostly for Asian audience in an Asian society.
Juns like plenty of other artists have many ideas and plans about their works and it's a very common practice that they will sit down and talk with their editors and decide things together, because that is how this buisness works.And everyone knows this.
Remember that even Masashi Kishimoto the creator of Naruto admitted that the movie "Naruto the Last" was his editors,manager and Studio Perriots idea and execution, and he was not involved in it at all.However he didn't had a problem since he did get paid for the fact that is Naruto franchise ,but still the copyright doesn't belong to him.
And yes nobody said Juns ever spoke against Lezhin,but instead of speaking about the company some fans speculted (and this is most likely true) that she simply chose not to sign a new contract with the company.That's all.
And of course Lezhin would release such kind of official announcement in which they didn't adress all the reasons why they are being accused for.Would the Korean government interfere to such a big company with so many artists and employees only for 8 people who compained?

The English service picks up titles from the Korean side of Lezhin, but also has English language-based titles (English writers and artists). Because Juns was Korean and began serializing on the Korean side, she intended her work to be for a Korean audience. All Lezhin artists enter into contracts that give them the option to have their work serialized on the English and Japanese and maybe even Chinese (not sure) services. So the editors did not force anything on Juns or not have her permission. Lezhin has said English service editors and translators work with artists and nothing gets published without their consent. The Korean government hasn't interfered into Lezhin at all. There is just a petition going around. No governmental action has been made regarding the petition. I know Korean and have read everything that's been happening. And whether or not Juns will sign a new contract with Lezhin, nobody knows yet. How the hell do you know? Don't speculate. She just finished DH and is taking a break. She's a freelancer, so she may choose to publish her work elsewhere. She's not an artist bound to lezhin. None of the artists are. Some artists publish works on multiple platforms at once. THat doesn't mean they disagree with Lezhin or criticize their practices. Please get your facts straight and stop spreading rumors.

Lezhic comics becomes more strict as they become bigger and more popular in the fairly new webcomic industry.They aren't all that bad,however they are very careful and more organized when it comes to their artists or works they publish.Of course there are editors to advice artists and help them.That doesn't necessarily mean that they will impose something to the artists but they might guide them sometimes.But the final decision will be made by the artists anyways.The editors are more careful especially since that scandal with a comic that was cancelled due to copyright infigerment.I don't remember the title of the comic but it was a bl and it had to do with a disease which name the author used in her story without knowing that it was copyrighted.The comic was taken down by the site.And hasn't started anew.
It's impossible for an artist who has a contract with Lezhin to upload in other services though and of course they aren't allowed to work with other companies when they still have contracts with Lezhin.The artists have social media and blogs were they post their drawings and they are free to do commissions but not other comics or works for other companies.
Juns is not a freelance artist at Lezhin.Lezhin contracts are per work.They may sign you for 1 or 2 comics if they like you.They don't do contacts with a time limit.
Lezhin does accept freelance submissions under certain rules:It must be at least four episodes with at least 70 panels.And that particular work cannot have been on any other site before.But in order for an artist to be able to upload an entire webcomic series they need to sign a contract.

Seriously, who copyrights a concept?! I wasn't really interested in it but when I heard that they had to take it down because an author copyrighted a CONCEPT I was furious. But I better stop here, otherwise I'd write 1000+ words why I think this is a dick move.
