it's not often you read something that captures the feeling of loneliness and fear of falling in love. i can relate with the lead's thoughts about not wanting to date if you'll just break up in the end... i didn't expect trains to be used so poetically in the end. the kid was his savior - the bright light he needed to take a different look at life. and your savior isn't necessarily a lover. they could just be a friend. someone who got on the train when you needed them and got off after.
i especially loved how strong their love was. normally most couples would often choose to 'let their partner go' but they were hell bent on staying together. how beautiful. the fact that they were so sure of one another, of what they had... and that even if the whole world became their enemy, as long as they were together. yeah, id kill to have what they had.
