you can tell when a lot of thought and effort has been put to storytelling. the plot is compelling and the FL is complex and unique yet somehow believable and convincing as a character. not to mention the ML who is basically heaven sent. so excited how this one develops
it's rare to see smut (which is not even that smutty) with a tinge of angst. i dont really hate the ML because he has his reasons :-) the new guy tho is crazy sus and i can see FL getting hurt again

i like how the main character feels like a real, living person. his thoughts and monologues feel very realistic (even his messed up thoughts). finished all chaps in one sitting and i wasnt expecting it to be so wholesome while being dark at the same time
so interesting... i can see this having an anime adaptation

aside from the main couple who are so perfect for each other, i found it very sweet how kaburagi called his friend "his masayan"....
now that i think about it im def a masayan to some of my friends who are in a relationship
