They were actually just trying to help Jeonghan overcome his fear of being alone and make him stronger (they've got the idea on the book)
Hyeol and Jeonghan eventually made up (with Hyeol confessing to Jeonghan that he likes him).
Jeonghan did not really give him a direct answer if he likes Hyeol back (but he blushes everytime they are together).
I guess their story is open ended --- maybe the author plan on making a separate story for them (not really sure about this)
PS: Hyeol and Kotsu becomes "brothers" since their fathers got married at the end.
I'm seeing far too many offended straight women in these replies proving your point (and kudos to the many straight people that actually bothered reading this rather than taking it as a personal attack because it really isn't? You do know we more allies, right? So listen and reflect rather than get defensive for a problem you will never experience)......
I'm sorry wtf????? You're acting as if they were writing about actual people. You are talking as if they are agreeing to what is being depicted in those fictional works and wouldn't mind it being done IRL. People in the lgbt community are not an entirely different species. You are acting as if it is only in yaoi that they depict; non-con, dub-con, ......
Would love to help out, not an artist but definitely willing to give feedback and review if you'd like (●'◡'●)ノ Just PM me here and I'll get back to you asap!
