Um, I’m talking about the future. He betrays her and starts plotting with Yvonne. Practically everyone around her, but Kallisto harms her in the future. The Crown Prince is the best out of the rest of the bastards. And he’s the one who goes through the best character development. So if you hate it, it’s just too bad… Because she and he end up together.

I agree with this. Out of all the 5 at this point (i always say 4, cmon vinter, work into my memory please) eclise or vinter is the one who has not yet done anything nasty. Mm, not quite. I think that the Crown Prince is better than all of them. It’s simply an objective fact. He tried to kill her, but that’s in the past. His character development and future actions is what deems him the best out of all the other bastards. There is no reason to dislike him now when his future actions already show that he’s just better. And learning how Eclise betrays her in the future because he’s a selfish POS who becomes obsessed makes me dislike him. It’s more logical to prefer Kallisto, knowing what I know. Leveraging the two, Kallisto has an overwhelming win.

It’d be abusive if he repeated his constant threatening of her life throughout the story, but he doesn’t. That’s why it’s called character development. Because he gets better. If Eclise gets worse, why would I like him? Does that make sense? Why not vouch for a character who will be a good person than for a character who will be a bad person? Huh? Exactly (づ￣ ³￣)づ. There are many things that can happen in the future that will change the way we think about someone, we may hate or like them. But that is what will happen in the future and right now the crown prince is still a madman and Eclise is still good （￣へ￣）

Let's put it this way, you do not abandon a puppy that will bite you in the future and you do not stay with an abusive partner because they showed signs of improvement. That's how domestic abusers kill their partner. We can't like a prince who draw his sword and verbally abuses her just because you say that he will be kinder in the future. Same as I hate the brothers who tortured her for years but are a little kinder to her now. Future kindness does not erase her current and past pain. We like those who are kind to her now. This is considering she's no longer the REAL penelope. She's transmigrated so putting that factor in, these 3 are people who have been and are currently cruel to the current FL.
