1. THE CLUB PENGUIN REFERENCE. BLESS.
2. translator-san OP>>>we support breaking noses of toxic hoes>>>
3. oh my god their relationship is still all over the placeBoth of them are clowns ngl. Daiki's "no brain only dick" agenda going strong I seehe really out here only for the booty, which is fine, but he ain't even decent enough to "listen" to his (sex) partner's complaints, or let him down gently regarding his differing view of whats between them.
4. Minjoon. pls. i know its not your fault, its the authors fault for making that simple conversation turn into such a big dealauthor hasn't been able to convince me entirely, at least, about the "gravity" of Daiki slyly omitting the fact that he understands Minjoon. Yea he's a big bitch for it, definitely a bit of a low blow to clown minjoon, but honestly theres way worse shit daikis done that he should have been cancelled for since way earlier, starting with that leopard print tatted ass
5. Toma and his adorbs self are lovely (=・ω・=)
Thank you for the update!
Something that really stood out, compared to other stories of romance between mythical beings and humans, is the conversation that the two leads had about their differing mortalities.
Maru clearly stated,"You are the person I will love in this era."
This doesn't necessarily imply that he'll take another lover once the MC passes away; maybe he will, maybe he won't - and both situations are equally plausible.
I choose to interpret this as him saying that for MC's entire lifetime, however long it may be, Maru is going to stay. He is committed, while acknowledging that this is, unfortunately, not a forever thing.
It made me pretty emotional and slightly upset, but I appreciate this subtle realism of admitting to the human life span of MC, as compared to other authors who conveniently show that either the immortal one loses their immortality, or the mortal one becomes a mythical being too, all without consequences or regret.
And then, the MC's heartening response, that he hopes Maru will guide him through hell- Maru's home, after his passing, is pretty bittersweet and adorable. It's a quiet message that even if their bizarrely differing life spans will someday bring a lot of hurt and devastation to both, MC is not going to let go, he is going to cherish what they have, however long it runs.
(In case you watch kdramas, this seems quite a bit similar to Goblin.)
We readers, especially the hopeless romantic lots, prefer to read stories that end in forevers and start with optimistic beginnings.
But this story is unique.
For it is about the love that blossomed between two individuals, at different points in their life. For one, it will be a fond memory to look back on, and for another, it will be the bliss of a life well-spent. Two lines, parallel, that intersected briefly in the flow of time, to create a magical pattern, before unwillingly going separate ways again.
Painful, yet beautiful.
And who knows, maybe, in a different life, under other circumstances, they will meet again, and finally have their forever(=・ω・=)
The gap moe between Ahjussi being the horniest sex-god ever but also cumming in 0.1 second from one(1) light makeout session cause he's an inexperienced asf kisser is just p e r f e c t.ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
I also really like how while euijoon becomes a mess of moans and hiccups and putty in ahjussi's lap, he takes the reins and guides the latter during kisses and other soft, intimate, cuddly actions ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
Their compatibility is very real>>>>
