Tachi-san's Manga

Dropped at chapter 8. Maxi is cute, but she’s just not the type of FL I like to read about. I understand why she is the way that she is and I feel for her, but it’s just not an enjoyable read. Girl is terrified out of her mind and her husband is oblivious to her trauma. There’s no real reason thus far as to why he even likes her in the first place. The story itself isn’t paced well so far. I might give it another try another day, but it was very disappointing.

It’s not bad, actually it can be quite enjoyable; however, I feel her childhood stage is dragged on for too long and certain developments involving her kidnapping simply don’t sit right with me. The fluidity of the novel is partially lost by a lack of proper storytelling.

Edit: taking away a star because I’m seeing a nonsensical development in Estelle’s adult life. If you like Bridgerton you might like this, however neither one is for me.
