Odette shows what it means to be a woman who can hold her head high despite slanderous accusations and insults from powerful people. As someone who was so concerned with what people thought about her, I’m reminded to always take pride in who I am, to do better for myself and not lose my dignity and pride, no matter what the naysers and haters say. To be a powerful woman is what the world hates the most. That being said, I will not blame her at all if she lashes out on others. Some people deserve it like her dumbass cousin.

Bruh the spoilers with the ml…….im willing to like him if it the story has him apologizing for the shit he puts her through, his toxic jealousy and anger issues, not assault her in any kind, and commits to being a better man to and for Odette (and in general). I think this wasn’t a really happy ending for Yuri. Now, she has no friends, no family (other than Oya and the child), will spend all her energy to getting accepted by Oya’s parents and the Oya syndicate, won’t have the freedom to do whatever she wanted anymore, will always have a target on her back (including the child), will have to experience more trauma and violence and be able to tolerate it, deal with Oya’s burden, have guilt towards her former family and friends, and the list goes on.
I don’t think she’ll regret her choice now but overtime she will. Tbh, her life will just be filled with loneliness and Oya and the child will not be enough to fill the loneliness and the harsh reality of being in the Yakuza, no matter how much he wants to make her happier after she sacrificed so much for him. I think this mangas message (among others) is that sacrificing your life for a dangerous man will come at a huge price. Honestly, Yuri could have broken up with Oya and find another man and still lived a safer life while keeping her loved ones, especially since she was happier when her family and friends were involved in her life.

I feel like this was a huge missed opportunity to show a parallel of Oya’s father grieving over Iori and Yuri grieving over her family. For someone who was dearly loved and felt so much guilt for causing pain to her family (before she got disowned), I seriously doubt that she’s not deeply troubled for being disowned and will never see her friends again. This also could have foreshadowed for Yuri to see that being in the yakuza means you have to seriously think twice of having children with Oya. If his father could be severely grieving over Iori, then imagine how Yuri will feel knowing her child will never be fully safe and is the only biologically relative in her life. Oya couldn’t always protect Yuri and Oya was always in sever danger. Imagine now with the kid in the picture. This really was a huge missed opportunity……..oh well 9/10 for the art.

You can’t blame your family for disowning you. You weren’t greedy because you wanted to have it all. You were greedy because you prioritized a yakuza over your friends and family! Not everyone can be open minded and face danger like you can. Being involved with the Yakuza means BEING involved with them as more than Oyas girlfriend. You were able to be his gf because you had a balance with him and your loved ones. Now, you just have him and a lot of violence that comes from him. You’re a grown adult so deal with the consequences of your actions because it’ll get harder from here on out (rant over)

Life advice to teen girls and young women in their early to mid twenties who are reading this manga andare going kyahhh for Oya: NEVER put a man over your friends and family. Loving someone should never be at the expense of your family and friends who are very dear to you. That will come back to bite you very hard, especially if that man leaves you. Yuri will now have to live with the guilt of her actions because she basically told her family that she picked a man DESPITE his very dangerous lifestyle of a year or so OVER her family who loved her since she was born. There’s only so much mental anguish Yuri can take before she breaks down from being involved with Oya. Also if Oya truly loves her, then he needs to have a serious discussion with Yuri of not sacrificing so much of her life for him.

I wish more people have a similar perspective on life as Chloe does. Life is way too short to be unhappy, so it’s important to, or attempt to, find joy in everything. Of course, being a slave is horrible. But, she made a very good point that it’s not good to die in vain and be grateful for living in the present. (▰˘◡˘▰)

1. Remember the red head guy who tried to brand chloe as his slave? He’s engaged to the Dukes fiancé. Apparently, Clara might be into bdsm @_@

8. The Duke has constantly felt regretful for what he did to Chloe when she was Beatrice. Before they got together, he told her that one of his wishes is for her to forgive him because he couldn’t forgive himself.

9. Chloe and the Duke have sex every night. The Duke is such a beast @_@. He straight up tried to have sex with her in a restaurant But, they eventually had sex in a carriage. Bruh, someone was cheering them on

Chloe’s identity gets find out by Evan (silver haired guy). He tells the Duke about her and identity, and boy was he shocked when he found out that she was a princess who he threatened to behead. He got even more shock when he found out they’re the same age. I don’t know Korean, but judging from the raws, I think Evan told the Duke chloes identity because he probably thought that Chloe was up to no good given the fact that she was the daughter of the traitorous king (something like that). He did look very frantic when he exposed chloes identity to the Duke. Towards the end of chapter 41, Chloe is all alone at night and some guy grabs her wrist while she screams. It could be the Duke or Evan.

I won’t excuse what Ruve did to Tia in the first timeline, but I am not going to sit here and talk shit about the ml if he isn’t doing anything to her now. Honestly, I wouldn’t have any issues with their outrage if Ruve continued to hurt Tia. The fact that people can’t see how the characters are different than the first timeline makes me think that a bunch of y’all were expecting a stereotypical nice, and fluffy shoujo prince of a ML. Also, the fact that I’ve seen more comments defending green haired boy than the ml really shows the selective outrage. Looool. He could imprisoned her and keep her away from her family for days, and some of y’all will still say “BuT hE lOvEs HeR!” Smfh.....Keep the same energy towards green haired boy if you’re going to keep shitting on blue haired boy. We’re over 100 chapters and y’all hatred towards the ML is getting so annoying. If we were still on chapter 5, then your hatred would have been justified. Drop the story if you hate him so much. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
