I think Theo(our ml) resembles the first grand duke aka the grandma's husband aka the one with three wives aka who's portrait and name is covered in the initial chapters. Which leads me to the conclusion that his name is one starting with E(pray tell im bad at remembering namesso bear with me) ie the one on the fourth princess' pendant that theo found towards the end, which leads me to believe the current fourth princess' soul is one of the first grand Duke's wives who couldn't let go of her obsession and might've dabbled into soccery and leading to the current events and her target being theo cos of the resemblance. I guess that would also explain her extensive knowledge on the curse and ancient sorcery. But also could mean her obsession was the start of the curse thus her knowing how to cure the Duke's family sgchn

Is there a moment when you regret not doing something sooner? Well this was one. I really can't believe I put off reading this for so long cos the cover art didn't please me enough. Stupid me, I would say cos as the story progresses, you fall in love with the art style the same way you do with the Characters!(not to mention that bexan is the perfect meme material )
