Heeseong stubbornly thought that being betrayed by his brother wasn’t worth being sad about. Tears welled up in his eyes as he looked at the floor, but Heeseong bit his lip hard to hold back his tears.
It was his brother who had pretended to cherish him and tried to use him. So it was right for him to only think about revenge.
Thinking stubbornly, Heeseong looked at the isolation room again. Yoon Chi-young needed to recover quickly so they could go kill Park Geon-tae. Even if not for that, he felt much more at ease when Yoon Chi-young was healthy. Thinking about revenge made his heart increasingly impatient.
As he wiped the tears welling up in his eyes, Heeseong said to Ji Yeong-bae, who was standing beside him,
“I’m going to the restroom and will be back.”
“It’s dangerous for you to go alone.”
“I want to go alone. It’s close anyway.”
Perhaps because of his experience living as a puppy, Heeseong spoke casually to Ji Yeong-bae. Ji Yeong-bae didn’t particularly mind that point, but he seemed worried about Heeseong going alone and tried to follow him.
“Don’t follow me.”
Not wanting to be caught crying, Heeseong deliberately avoided Ji Yeong-bae and went to the restroom. The restroom was right around the corner anyway

Haha, no worries, the novel has more depth and gives us more insights to their thoughts but I also thought that it has more funny moments.

although there's not a lot of puppy pics, it was a good setup for our MC/ML relationship. But what I'm excited about after seeing the ending of this chapter is what our fierce puppy will do in chap 21 because it was hilarious in the novel.

Heeseong is in BR alone bec he didn't want Ji young bae to see him cry. The blonde dude who entered BR is the ex of Yoon Chiyoung (who's now dating his sister). When the dude probed about him (he was also condescending when he found out that Heeseong was just a dog and not purebred wolf), Heeseong lied that he has sexual relations with Chiyoung. The dude started making insinuations about Chiyoung that were insulting which made Heeseong upset. At first, Heeseong tried to just leave and not make a scene but the dude won't stop so our fighting dog threw the juice given by Chiyoung at the wolf dude as he was leaving the BR telling him not to insult Chiyoung, and then he walked fast to get away to Ji Young Bae telling him he caused trouble before turning into a puppy and hiding in his leg pant °•(≧∀≦)•°
Here's the novel account of what happened:
Turning back around, Heeseong approached Yang Hye-chan with fierce eyes, taking big strides.
“Would you like some strawberry juice?”
“Hmm, no thanks….”
Before Yang Hye-chan could finish his answer, Heeseong poured the strawberry juice onto his face, which had a sneer on it. For the first time, the contempt disappeared from Yang Hye-chan’s face, and surprise and anger began to set in.
Putting the plastic cup down on the sink with a thud, Heeseong said, subtly revealing his fangs,
“Don’t badmouth Yoon Chi-young in front of me. I’m his guardian.”
“…Ah, you bi….”
“What? If you’re upset, bring your own guardian too.”
Leaving a warning, Heeseong left the restroom again. Behind him, the wolf’s growling sound echoed louder and louder in the restroom. Instinctively, Heeseong’s steps quickened. Quickly leaving the restroom, Heeseong urgently said to Ji Yeong-bae as soon as he turned the corner of the corridor,
“Yeong-bae hyung, I caused trouble.”

Before Ji Yeong-bae could even understand the situation, Heeseong immediately transformed into a puppy behind the door of the guardian waiting room right next to him.
The puppy, who had haphazardly shoved his clothes behind the door, rolled his front paws and looked at a loss, then recklessly burrowed into Ji Yeong-bae’s pant leg and tightly grabbed his ankle wearing dress socks with his front paws. Although he could hide in the pile of clothes, clinging to Ji Yeong-bae was optimal to conceal his scent.
In the meantime, Yang Hye-chan’s rough voice echoed in the corridor.
“Did you see the damn dog that just passed by here?”
“I didn’t see it.”
Ji Yeong-bae pretended not to know without changing his tone of voice. Heeseong understood why the deer in fairy tales rewarded the woodcutter. Even though he had suddenly gotten involved in trouble, he was very grateful that Ji Yeong-bae took his side.
Afterward, Yang Hye-chan questioned a few more times, but Ji Yeong-bae’s answers were like an iron wall. The puppy, hiding in the pant leg, quickly wagged his short tail in tension and held his breath.
At that moment, Yang Hye-chan persistently asked,
“That dog Yoon Chi-young brought this time, are they really sleeping together?”
‘Why the hell is he prying into that?’
Heeseong found Yang Hye-chan to be really clingy. Asking around about his ex-lover’s rumors. In the meantime, Ji Yeong-bae answered heavily,
“That’s not something I can answer.”
“Ha, I guess they really are sleeping together.”
Afterwards he (in puppy form) was placed inside Yoon Chiyoung's isolation room so Chiyoung can wake up stably and not go into shock without Heeseong. Novel:

Seeing Yoon Chi-young smiling pleasantly (when he woke up), he felt a bit sorry to tell him that he had caused trouble. Heeseong gave a subtle glance to Ji Yeong-bae, who had lifted him up. It meant to translate well for him.
With a hint of apology in his heart, the puppy mustered up the courage to tell Yoon Chi-young,
‘But I caused trouble.’
“The puppy declared to Young Master Yang Hye-chan that he’s in a romantic relationship with you, director, and threw strawberry juice at him.”
‘Hey!’
Feeling a great sense of betrayal, the puppy barked loudly at Ji Yeong-bae. He would have preferred the usual messy translation rather than this transcendent translation.
Still, it was the truth, so he had no face to show. Heeseong began to gauge Yoon Chi-young’s reaction, but it was strange.
“Kuk kuk kuk kuk kuk….”
Yoon Chi-young was actually laughing with a subtle shaking of his shoulders, as if he had heard something cute. His loose laughter, made while half-asleep, seemed both comfortable and exhilarating. The puppy wagged his tail while looking at him, not understanding the situation. He felt relieved that Yoon Chi-young didn’t take it as seriously as he had thought.

It's amazing how the music seems to flow in the illustrations. I read somewhere that Tokise's performance was like Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, the 2nd movement which is dynamic and fast. I had to listen and he was right! I can imagine it being played using koto.
I just watched the first few eps of the anime before coming here, I just hope the little prince didn't die or something (⊙…⊙ )
