People are tryna make it seem like the researchers were innocent, but theyre not. Theyre about to sell off their own country, and theyre fully aware that it can start an all out war. Enemy countries are just waiting for justification to attack their own country, so theyll sell information to them? Thats not a very innocent thing to do. In fact, theyll be the ones killing innocent people. Even the current aristocrats right now are innocent, because from my understanding, it was an incident that happened probably a hundred years ago. What theyre about to do arent even gonna punish the guilty, cause theyre all dead and rotting underground, its just that they think they can make good money out of it. And look at the ruins, no dragon, aged, they dont even know where it is until they managed to locate the traitors, (cause they are traitors in every sense of the word, selling off your country is a very traitor thing to do) so its a practice that isnt happening anymore.
