What Inwoo did at the end was wrong and inexcusable but before that scene I was getting so mad at Jiho, how can he not at least try to understand what Inwoo's is feeling even when he's spilling his heart out for him and all his thoughts he has kept hidden since he's known him.
Why is Jiho the one trying to make excuses for his mother while invalidating his bf's feelings when the woman herself hasn't even apologized or looked remorseful to her son yet, no matter if she feels bad or not in private. And saying she came all this way?! She literally has been in Korea multiple times, she didn't take the initiative she only came because you invited her! In previous chapters when Inwoo went to her couldn't she have taken a break in that time when she already knows he's coming? And even after that she didn't contact him.
Ngl the she's still your mother line almost broke my mind.
I just don't have much sympathy for parents who abandons their children in the hands abusive people voluntarily, because of her leaving Inwoo nearly died and not even to see if he's okay later is just the nail in the coffin. Perhaps next chapters reveal something new about their past but other I dislike her.

Some people are just mad at Jinjoo for rejecting Doyeoon but don't understand the turmoil and suffering Jinjoo has been going through for a very long time. She left her family and spent all her life with a man she's not attracted to but had been convincing herself she does and this chapter probably confirms it that she's a lesbian.
Her self esteem issues and religious guilt are definitely not helping. She doesn't even have any friends so all her life all she had was her husband so of course she's afraid of leaving him when she keeps thinking that Doyeon is so similar to her husband and when she has not even come to realize her fear and aversion to men in general and her sexuality.
She hates herself and thinks she'll ruin Doyeon's life due her self image and internalized homophobia. She also thinks it's unfair but she can't help but take comfort in Doyeon when everything else in her life is so stressful and hopeless. It makes me so sad that she has been afraid and depressed for so long.
