It’s sad that the whole situation was a misunderstanding but the MCs POV is completely valid. It frustrates me so much that she was neglected even though her husband “loved” her. Like seriously, there’s different ways to go about this situation. Did he really think it was a great idea to act coldly for her sake, he’s aware of the mistreatment she received from her father so he should’ve had some awareness that it wouldn’t be good for her mental health.
On the other fucking hand, that disgusting piece of shit made my blood boil. Seriously, he’s so immature to result to violence. Also claiming people as “property” is absolutely repulsive and screams toxic. And also the fact that the heroine didn’t make an effort to clear everything up makes her just as bad. She even knows that it’s rude to be close to someone’s fiancé because she herself mentions it. And also speaking informally because she wants to be friends... like girl stfu NO means NO.
Thinking about it now this is more realistic. Compared to other stories, the MCs always ignore the fact that they left their whole life behind, or if they do acknowledge it it’s literally for only one chapter. I like this because even the people around her have noticed that she isn’t the same. It literally makes sense on how the maid picked up everything from her small habits since she’s been watching her her whole life. I just really like this one so far..
I couldn’t help but cry as I read this. It really hit close to home with the expectations of becoming an adult and fitting into society’s stereotypes. Although I am grateful that the my surroundings are less strict about “adulting” I still feel like I’m shackled down to responsibilities because of my up bringing. It was refreshing to read this, and the art and they way the whole story was portrayed was absolutely beautiful.
