I thought the ending was satisfying as I, the reader, could make up my own ending for the two.

After reading this manga in one night and having several ups and mostly down emotions. I can safely say, at this point, I just want a relatively happy ending for Richard.
Cause Richard is baby and I would die for him (༎⌑༎) so he can experience at least SOME JOY.
