Whyyyyy a dream? The emperor is such a masochist!
The teacher could have EASILY manipulated him, have him at his beck and call
Anything could have been attainable if he used some sweet words or strategically neglected him
That would have been so much more interesting to see, ESPECIALLY if by the end of the story, the teacher betrays the emperor and escapes after he helps his country, organize a new system, and get revenge on the emperor!
Maybe he could even fake his death and trick the emperor into marrying someone

Pleaseeee I hope something like that happens. I want the teacher to become unhinged! Match that man’s freak! Cause…that emperor needs to chill
