I haven't got caught up on this yet from ch10, but just looking at so many comments.... I think a lot of people forgot at the beginning when she asked him directly about what if a woman told him she's pregnant, and he immediately said he'd have them KILLED because it was a lie.(⊙…⊙ ) Any SANE person would definitely hide the facts about them and their unborn child after THAT! AND run away into hiding. I know I would!!!! (And let's not forget that he probably knew that's why she was asking him.) AND let's not forgot HER backstory. One of the reasons why she's so determined to protect any child of hers! If he didn't want her to run into hiding, especially with his well known reputation of being a tyrannical king with no compassion or mercy, he should NOT have told her THAT!
I'm not finished reading yet, but......some things felt missing to me.
I just now starting to read this, I've put it off trying to wait until it's finished, and it seems like a lot was skipped around chapters 64 and 65. We don't see exactly what happens with Veronica. And everything around that time seems so rushed, unexplained, non detailed, and skipped around. Like where did that wound on his forehead come from? Even Gok's ceremony at the end of season one. I don't want to list too many things so I'll stop there. Don't get me wrong. I really like this. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ But to me some parts are poorly portrayed, mostly at the end of season one - so far-, and could have been done better. Then in the beginning of season two, (that I just NOW saw only the first half of the first chapter), you see that they completely skipped over all of Hwa's childhood. (￣ε(#￣)Σ That sucks!!!! But it looks like the end is close to coming from the comments, so I'm gonna hold off on reading the rest.
