I think it's about time the author tells the full story on why they have to ignore Natalie. No matter the reason, NOW, no one is going to accept any redeeming of their family relationship. They went way beyond just typical neglect.

They are only setting her up for misery in the future. At this point even if they suddenly make her beloved the nobles will stop at nothing to bring up her past again. It's sad. On the ten year later chapter, I expected to see Given touring together. THEM touring together. NOT doing it with his friends band still!!!! That's pretty much the same road Yuki took. Leaving Mafuyu alone again, separated from his lover. I can't believe his childhood friends would do that to him. That means they put zero effort into finding a new guitarist! Ue was supposed to be obsessed with Mafuyu's sound and wanted to do it with him and their band!!!! Am I really the only one upset about this!?!? I think that the ending was realistic. Although they didn't do everything together, they still ended up doing things they loved. And that's how reality usually is. I'm just glad that everyone stayed together in the end.
