Yall be complaining too much the art didn’t change that drastically- when I first read the comments you guys had me scared. The plots cute and at ch.52 I can’t wait for more! Recommended for anyone who loves a sweet romance with an underlying plot of racial injustice and conflict. I will say though that I personally would’ve loved if the Duchess kept her badass vibe, she definitely begun feeling more like a normal fl who just happens to be really strong- but I guess seeing the main character soften and become vulnerable is kind of the point of the romance genre in general so I can’t hate too much. Love the ML, he’s a total cutie with a rockin bod. Totally worth a read.

As much as I love supernatural x human stories- the lifespan differences kill me. As far as we know there is no way to turn a human in this story, so that means he’ll live his whole life and then Noi will just be alone for yeaars after his eventual death.

Yes, like the other commenters are saying, it’s a lil morally deprived, but for the kind of story it is (a smut-oriented re-adaption of evil queen x male Snow White) it’s pretty good. Arts fantastic, the plot is weirdly smooth with how short the story itself is, and the translation is pretty okay.
: yes, it’s rapey. Neither begin consenting and as it continues- they catch feels. But I will say as far as those kind of scenes go, it’s not violent nor grotesque. So if you’re into CNC without all the psychological stuff this is a good go-to.

God this is such a breathe of fresh air. No insane dramatic plot line, no denial or miscommunication, no overcomplicated bullshit just- straightforward. They’re falling a little fast, but it feels so gorgeously natural. Words can’t express how absolutely fond I am of this.

We never dove deep into their (specifically the parents, but yes the MCs also)’s development. You can tell it was one of those, “porn > plot” comics- which I’m typically cool with.
But the whole Dads coupling up thing and the unresolved issues between the black haired dude and his own father feel so outta place. Like don’t get me wrong, it’s a fun concept and def a first of its kind, but I ended up disliking his dad after the son ranted about him in the last chapter and I’m kinda just left with that feeling w/ its end.
All this to say I wish we dove deeper into their story. Like okay, I get it, they were childhood loves torn apart- but what about all the stuff in between?? Their lives led without each other- the women they had kids with and why big shot police man was such a cold bastard to his son— or even HOW and WHY they fell in and out of love with each other— the bits of the puzzle we’re missing. Idk. Maybe I’m just goofin
My theory: Leon’s a god or at the very least- an angel. It would explain his initial appearance after he fell through the rift and why his body is different from everyone else.
