As big as oars is crazy. I’m so curious to see where this arc is going. I think I’m actually excited because I don’t understand why for the first time Luffy is actively trying to help what looks like the arc’s villain (I’m guessing Shanks’s brother is more like it though). I think it’s Luffy’s emotional intelligence that’s throwing me for a loop, though the interaction with Zoro was hilarious.

No Richard, she just told you she couldn’t give you her entire day -.-
Unlike some of you guys, I don’t hate the kid lol but you can tell with this encounter that he hasn’t had the time to grow past his obsession with her at all. That’ll be rough if he turns out not to be the ML. If they didn’t make him grow while he was apart, I don’t know how it’ll happen now that they’re reunited.

“For those wondering if Vlad ends up with Alicia or Zemina/Jemina... It is implied in the end through a prophecy (a doodle from the elf priestess) that Vlad and Zemina will eventually have a kid. The love triangle is just an illusion… Alicia does like him and tries to poach him from Bayezid a few times, but he only really ever acts like her knight or friend. It's repeated all throughout the novel that Vlad grounds himself by the fact that his adventures began when his unadorned sword was bought from an old blacksmith by the tears of a red-haired girl

They do end up together, but this isnt a romance genre so the focus really isnt about how they get there. It was just the natural order of things. Alicia wasnt even really an option for Vlad, but he was aware of both girls' feelings. There was a part where Vlad had to leave Soara, and he asked Zemina to give him her handkerchief. So we know the implications of that. Both girls also meet sometime in the middle of the novel, Alicia visited Soara for something(?) and Vlad wasnt there yet, so Zemina entertained her as a guest of the inn.”

Hahahah, a leaking stone.
I might be in the minority on this, but I actually want her to have more interactions with blondie from the cover. He’s what drew me in and he’s what I want to see everytime I switch to a new chapter. I’m glad he’s on the hunt. I’m curious to see how they’ll mesh together with his obsession for older bald women.

1. I can see why her father doesn’t feel she’s leader material. She’s an impulsive hot head who sometimes thinks rationally. She starts to think about how odd it is to bump into the guy more than once, starts to think about how oddly friendly he is, but then brushes it off. Why isn’t she following her instincts? If she did that more, she’d have the edge. She doesn’t have the paranoid and cautious trait she needs to be a good leader in a society where they’re actively trying to hide what they are. Imagine your pack leader just being casually hunted while she’s not suspecting a thing. No thank you. I would also put her best friend in the successor position.
2. Mg hope is for the situation with the ML Hunter to humble her and makes her realize that she should be more alert and suspicious of strangers. If she had any of the leader traits her father wanted her to have, I’m sure he would’ve confided in her about the fact that all the killing could automatically cause werewolf hunters to come out of the shadows. I think it’s for that reason that the best friend is much more suspicious of the actor ML. I’m glad he kept her phone ringing, I don’t need werewolf hunter ML to think my girl is too easy (even though she sadly is).
3. The werewolf hunters annoy me as well. I hate when individuals meant to be weaker get all smug and arrogant like manipulating a werewolf princess so she can go into a frenzy is a smart plan. They behave as though they’re the only ones who can hunt whoever’s been on a killing spree, as if that’s not a whole werewolf. From everything I’ve seen, I’m not that impressed with their method. I understand they probably went through something traumatic, but everything about their character doesn’t even draw a hint of sympathy from me. I want them to be humbled the most.
Suuuuure. It’s guilt.
