I mean it's not everyone's cup of tea but I really like this story tbh. I don't like how Jooin ended up with we know who in the end but the beginning already leads up the that end tbh. I think they suit each other too. And as for Cain, he just deserves so much more than he thinks he does. He is probably my fav 2nd male lead ever in all the years of reading BL for me lol. The characters' development are very well written. Jooin is such a realistic and fresh main character to have despite being a push over in the first arc. I honestly can relate so much to Jooin not for being in the same situation but for how he react being in the love triangle. I think he handled it quite well and Yahwi deserved what he had coming for him like the author said in their comments╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Jooin didn't owe anyone any sympathy, love, or explaination. He can choose to walk away even after both male leads expressed their love and trauma to Jooin because he is his own person and has every right to do whatever he wants to just like Yahwi and Cain so idk why yall pissed at him (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 I literally bawled my eyes when Jooin said something along the line " If I were to pit snd understand him then who would pity and understand me?" like omg yes queen the self-actualisation (๑•ㅂ •)و✧ Anyways love the story even though I thought it may have a little more impact if they invested even more on the grandpa's impact on Yahwi's personality than just recited words he said to him when our Kitty was younger lol It felt little shallow to me compared to the story written in the third arc.
In the end, it's a good read (took me 6 hours 30min in total skipping almost all the smuts cuz I wanted to plot first haha might go back and read them again later)
9/10 would have been 7/10 if not for the last arc where they really delved into the grey areas of their relationships and would have been 10/10 if there was more of Cain TT my bby gurl

The art and plot is amazingggg minus all the nonconsentual pay gorn but the art is still pretty nontheless. I've read this over and over waiting for new chapters and realised small details like facial reactions and the tiny kisses/peaks/smooches Ilay gives Tay and it's lowkey so wholesome since that's how Ilay express love for Tay even though he doesn't even admit it lol silly bois (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ Honestly I'd list this as a guilty pleasure read but the overall plot is good so far

Well i mean going from the title 'See you, My King' and the 再见 is 'See you' but could also mean 'Goodbye' or 'Farewell' sooooo this is likely gonna have a sad end since Li is basically saying farewell to our Mimi :")) Not spoilers thought cuz I'm only guessing from the title :"))

But another title for this is still we meet again my king, meaning it’s not a complete goodbye. I think it might be a bittersweet ending. It’s possible for them to meet again in future. After all Rocky knew the Li in the earlier chapters. Maybe it’s a time loop. They meet as Li and Rocky, Rocky dies and Li transport to the past, meets the king, after everything they fall in love, King probably turns into stone during their encounter with Anubis, Li get’s sent back to his time after promising that they will meet again in future and the cycle repeats itself.

Gideon (the og one aka the crown prince at this timeline) could have used his lethal face card to get with the 'Saint' if he wanted to cuz she literally likes his apperance =))) Just had to make the btch jealous a bit and she won't be able to separate from him like it's that ez bruh :))) But I guess his personality is too nasty and dumb for that lol :)) Also, the 'Saint' power also defies the logic of the ' chosen one' because if she is chosen then she must be God's favorite, and if so she must hace the qualities to become chosen but that btch has nothing :D
I have a love hate relationship with how stories portray Deities because in religious context, we learn that 'God' is perfect and everything God do has a reason for it ( I'm not religious). BUT God would not personally interfere with human's bussiness in any way because 'karma'. Idk but I believe the afterlife is when you atone for your sins (or how you call it in other beliefs), no God would step in to 'change' the future cuz if they have to they would even show up themselves TT That's why I find it so conflicting. BUT in terms of this manhwa, I still do enjoy it very much hoho. Can't wait for everything to unravel (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Its just a difference in culture and religion. Some cultures DO have gods that interfere a lot with mortals (damn zeus calm down) but I assume you come from a monotheistic culture which is totally cool too.
Actually Egyptian gods tended in their mythology to interfere in mortal affairs. It's just that this isn't an accurate portrait of what Anubis would do in such a situation, you could believe from other gods from the same mythology. But this is a manwha so been accurate isn't the main point
you're actually right I kind of forgot about Zeus for a moment (and his childrens from all different mothers lol)
yeah I know that's why it's fiction and we do enjoy it for the plot (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ I'm just wondering how they're gonna unfold the story, like which Deity brought our MC to this timeline n such since their main focus is kinda anti-god / human decides their own fate ( Mimi's beliefs)
did you forget there are like different religions beyond christianity or something
