Please for sake of my sanity I can't remember the name of this manga TT. So the narrator is the seme and it's highschool setting. Seme is the super perfect boy that does everything perfectly after learning about for 3 hours ( or 3 days i cant remember). One day he decided to play a demo dating stimulator game where online players are to flirt with NPC in highschool to date them. Uke is a mob character who no one wants to get because of his feisty personality so seme wanted to be the first one. Then there is a scene where they saw the ocean but could not pass the border to the other side because the game doesn't allow it so seme took uke to a pool because of how uke said he'd like to see the ocean one day with seme but uke is just a mob character. And then there is a whole incident with the game bug and uke disappeared BUT SPOILERS

It's called DistopiA - Mikansei na Sekai. It's a bit old but the story is quite adorable. If u do really enjoy the in game dynamic like me, you might want to check out 'How to survive as a player' which has a similar NPC×Player dynamic but with more smuts and newer too ლ(´ڡ`ლ) Enjoy~~

I have a love hate relationship with how stories portray Deities because in religious context, we learn that 'God' is perfect and everything God do has a reason for it ( I'm not religious). BUT God would not personally interfere with human's bussiness in any way because 'karma'. Idk but I believe the afterlife is when you atone for your sins (or how you call it in other beliefs), no God would step in to 'change' the future cuz if they have to they would even show up themselves TT That's why I find it so conflicting. BUT in terms of this manhwa, I still do enjoy it very much hoho. Can't wait for everything to unravel (づ￣ ³￣)づ
Its just a difference in culture and religion. Some cultures DO have gods that interfere a lot with mortals (damn zeus calm down) but I assume you come from a monotheistic culture which is totally cool too.
Actually Egyptian gods tended in their mythology to interfere in mortal affairs. It's just that this isn't an accurate portrait of what Anubis would do in such a situation, you could believe from other gods from the same mythology. But this is a manwha so been accurate isn't the main point
