I was on board with this until they made the boyfriend have the memory of a highschooler. Why do so many authors feel the need to make things weird, and morally questionable when it doesn’t add anything to the plot. Also why does the amnesia plotline need to be in everything nowadays
Trope pokemon, gotta catchem all. But seriously, besides the amnesia, it's also the sudden relative appearance who completely opposes their union trope, or that stuck on a desserted island for xx hours trope. Like sticking them all in a blender and making a trope smoothy.
I agree but I’m pretty sure he’s faking the whole amnesia thing. I think he had amnesia for like the first day or two and then kept it up.
I agree that the ending felt rushed and I’m also hoping that there are at least side stories if not another season, but I vaguely remember reading comments about the author being ill or something. I could be misremembering but that would at least explain why the ending was the way it was.
