someone get rid of this crazy evil twinkle now !!!
but on a serious note I know he has a knife so... PLS DONT LET IT HAPPEN BUT what if he tries to stab Hyun and or Yui and the other intervenes and he manages to stab either of them i just DONT want him to be successful or feel like he won in any type of way
at least Yui knows his brother is a psycho now

Why does everyone hate Yeona again? I feel like that came so randomly. She's just a high school girl, she's nice and she gets along with everyone. Everyone says they want Ijin to experience every day high school life but god forbid the man has a slice of life/shoujo moment and has a crush?? that's part of it ya virgins LOL
AND ANYWAY. There have been absolutely zero hints of any romance taking place. the man is still shooketh to receive pocket money from grandpa you think he'll pick up on a girls feelings? be fuckin forreal just giggle at the silly moments of girls falling for him bc hes a young, attractive dude. Quit shitting on girls.

Yeona is definitely a nice girl.
I don't like their ship cuz it seems boring but there is nothing to complain about her.
I also want Ijin to have all happiness in the world and that includes love. I just wish they introduce a new character for him ,someone who doesn't need protecting all the time and can pull her own weight. Maybe someone from his past

Yeona was suspicious and cold toward Ijin from the very start, even though he didn’t give her any real reason to be. She only began to respect him after seeing what he could do which shows her respect was based on his abilities, not who he actually is. Instead of trying to understand him as a person, she judged him first and only warmed up when it suited her. Now, she keeps inserting herself into his life ignoring any boundaries, acting like her feelings give her a right to be there. After all that trauma Ijin deserves someone who values him for who he truly is, not someone who only cares when it benefits them or fits their own story.

to be fair, her own family was trying to take her out. she is just a kid and she had to deal with her family trying to plant spies and other bullshit. I'd be side eyeing everyoneeeee myself lol she lowered her guard when she realized he was no threat to her and someone she could count on. She's not "inserting" herself she's part of the friend group so she's obviously around. You could say the same about his other friends they "inserted" themselves into his life. Sometimes, thats how you make friends! They involve themselves even when Ijin says its fine bc they care, they're just kids and dont realize how serious Ijin's problems are lol Yeona is the same. Do I particularly like her for Ijin? Its whatever, but the hate on her is so forced esp when she hasn't done anything wrong except exist as a love interest.

it's boring but that's every day, NORMAL life. You have a cute relationship and go on about your life lol with Yeona it wouldn't be normal either tho. She's the granddaughter of SW, even now she's in danger. Normal with a sprinkle of danger.
If they introduced someone from his past that didnt need protection that would be super interesting! but that would also mean they were up to shady shit and then Ijin would NOT have a normal happy life.

I get that Yeona had a tough family situation that made her wary, but that doesn’t excuse how cold and suspicious she was toward Ijin from the very start, especially when he never gave her a real reason to doubt him. Sure, kids can be awkward when they care, but constantly following him to his job at SW Group, something none of his other friends do, is way beyond just “being part of the group.” If she weren’t the granddaughter of his boss, no one would tolerate that behavior. Regarding your point that the hate on her is “forced,” pointing out how she crosses boundaries and acts selfishly isn’t hate, it’s just stating the facts. Just because you don’t see it that way doesn’t make the criticism invalid. Her privilege lets her ignore basic respect and push past Ijin’s boundaries, and that’s simply not okay. Honestly, as a love interest, she comes off selfish and judgmental, and it often feels like she holds power over him rather than being his equal. I just want Ijin to have someone normal, someone who truly values him, not someone like Yeona.

I went back to the beginning and read it all over again bc I was losing the plot.
after re-reading it, I can see that it DOES have plot. I think the problem is the fact it updates very slowly and we lose sense of what has happened thus far. I will say that I wish they touched on Mia's story and what's happening with that a bit more. We know she's not the real saintess because her hair was dyed pink with alchemy, she's being forced to act a certain way and she is literally a victim in a way. She doesn't feel like the usual green tea bitch that's actually evil.
Isidore. Oh my gawd. I think the problem with him is that he is too ... neon??? his hair is bright yellow. his eyes are like a cyan, turquoise neon blue. he is just overall too bright HAHA his face has also been changed. In the beginning, as the Master, his face was still .. strong? not too skinny kpop idol looking. and even when he became Isidore he retained that strong look. but they've made his eyes bigger, jawline tiny and he looks like a child now. He's more handsome as the Master ;;;; I think he suits Deborah with that look more as well.
The artstyle in the beginning was chefs kiss. SO GOOD. Deborah and Isidore(as the Master) looked amazing. I wish we could go back to those times. I do still like where the story is headed, I don't mind her business arc I just wish they also touched on the whole fake/real saintess and destruction of the shield etc etc

I just rather see more between her and her little brother. But I said she give her her brother the egg or something. I'm just starting to get bored with this eggplant. I don't care! I just want to see her in the little brother develop a relationship and have fun together and I don't know, have a childhood.

Fr! I just checked myself and the art style downgraded! It's more round and childish rn! That's why i had a feeling of her being less villainess like and Master looks like his eyes got blind, not sharp gray. Why they even done this? I love when manhwas got serious, mature, kinda messy lines in art style not this roundy, precise bullshit ಥ_ಥ

YESS omg exactly!!! That slight messiness in the earlier art gave it its charm, it was so nice! their faces were more balanced and she had a mean but beautiful look to her
Deborah is still drawn beautifully when she's seen through Isidore's POV but we don't get those shots often. I miss the Master's looks from the first chapter he appeared, he looked mean!! dude had AURAA. Isidore is pretty af but I wish he was less round and less yellow. color-scheme wise I hate their match up haha there's too much going on

she's such a fuckin hater broooo and what's "she's bringing in her own people to take control of the house" AFTER SHE ADMITS NONE OF THEM WANTED TO CARE FOR LARIETTE. How is bringing in one close maid that will care for her gonna do anything?? it's not like she went around firing staff and rehired her own people. Even though she should have after they failed to care for the mistress of the house.
However they feel doesn't mean they get to pass judgement on a situation, they're not family at the end of the day. She has done and is continuing to do a lot for the house and for Ashrahan. She's (the mercenary) literally passing rations for war relief knowing it's a good thing and it will make her Lord look good and she doesn't like it bc Lariette is behind it. Hating ass mf biatchhh
Cedric is still number one to me (ASIDE FROM DADDY EMPEROR AND HIKAN) like, new guy is handsome and cool for sure but Cedric is just cutie patootie to me. I'm a sucker for red eyes
