Nah, I have seen a good balance of both, there isn't room for creative plots with healthy slice of life stuff though.... ...Remember mangaka are catering to their paying audience bc they want to get paid, they aren't writing based on their personal preference. It is bizness. Their core audience is not 'Westerners' they are writing for another culture.
There’s a good amount of healthy relationship yaois. When it comes to toxic relationships, there are the authors that normalize it and the authors that don’t. I appreciate the authors that don’t normalize toxic relationships.

Yes, thank you! I hate it when rape scenes are painted as hot and shit like that. I rly like this manhwa because it doesn't do that. It's so depressing, too lol. And authors who bring up issues in the LGBTQ community or just societal problems are such blessings. A lot of harassment/assault in yaoi mangas/manhwas are portrayed so lightly as if relationships are supposed to be like that (not to mention some Thai BL series/movies).
No, Uncle Pan was being logical :( he had a point, but I honestly want them to make it work MyEyesHuuuurt
His reasons were logical but not what he did. If he wasn't going to be serious about them then he should have never agreed to redhead's confession. The poor kid was so serious about him

You're right about that one, if he didn't actually agree, none of this would be happened..

Is it just me or do you guys also think that a vast amount of yaoi mangaka is allergic to writing healthy relationships?
the truth you speak is blinding and made me realize i takes me 3 minutes to think of a healthy relationship manga
That is exactly what i think too..

It’s not just you, I’ve noticed it a couple times in many mangas I’ve read...the dynamic between the top and bottom are usually on the toxic side.
