At first I was kinda annoyed by the side couples, as our mains haven't really had a proper conclusion yet, but this chapter just kinda made me realise that these side couples are a way of showing how the kingdom has settled down and people have moved on and are now able to pursue frivolous relationships. It's sweet :)
"they knew eachother while one of them was a child" is my least favourite troupe. Shits WEIIIRRRRDDDDD
Also before y'all ride my ass more, I am not calling anyone a pedophile, Im not saying anything sexual will happen with him while he looks like a kid, I just think it's weird that the author chose to depict their first meeting as him being a kid instead of a little older. I just said it was weird LMFAO y'all are actually insane
it's already in the plot, he saw first human which is a child, that's why he took a child form. if you ask why author chose a kid for first human he see is mostly bc the author wanted to point out how hyo un is like a baby, having no mentor and experience on how to be a proper mythical beast, and imo it's very easy to understand. unless you just want to keep on seeing him in a child form weird or ped*phile ish (which is shows that you don't understand the story)
People tripping. I agree. Hyo-un isn't a just a child physically, but also mentally. The fact that one of them takes the role of guardian/caretaker to a child is just gross and unnerving. It's the epitome of power imbalance and in real life that's a precursor to grooming. Not fun, not even when it's a "mythical" creature that looks and acts like a literal child.
I'm sorry? did you see taehyuk manipulating him here in these flashback? no, right? and so far from what I saw in raws taehyuk didn't do anything close to manipulation or any power imbalance that you so eloquently said. he's trying his best to take care hyo un even though he finally got a hunch that hyo un isn't human
please, if you still try to apply that unbased opinion, stop reading, this story isn't just for you, bc you refuse to differentiate between reality and fiction.
Why are y'all so pressed about whether or not Sangwoo maybe being autistic isn't confirmed by the author?? Not everything has to be taken at face value by authors or we'd have so many LGBT couples that are insinuated by subtext completely erased just because the author publicly said "yeah nah". If he's not autistic,,,, cool. If he his autistic, awesome! It's really epic that people can relate to a character like themselves! It's really not that big of a deal
Because action doesn’t automatically means they are that e.g a lot of freaking K-pop fans think their idols are gay because they touch, kiss and feel each other when many times Korean especially the men said that’s how they are because of kinship, y’all need to stop labeling people by their action until they decided to speak up or not.
Real people and a fictional comic are completely different things though. I completely agree with the fact that people need to stop labelling celebrities and idols with certain sexualities until they themselves explicitly state so, as they are real people with emotions and feelings, but things like literature are completely open to interpretation. It harms not a single soul by guessing things like being on the spectrum or certain sexualities.
I’m not pressed it’s just bc when people ask like “why is sangwoo being so oblivious” or “why is he making it so complicated” people respond saying he’s autistic. Like it’s not cannon and it confuses people thinking it’s fact. Why would you respond to a question with a lie yk
