it's the misogyny in this that does it for me. but no seriously it's gross. that one scene in the begnining where the brother treated her like a dog after she was already upset, and then she just forgives him for almost no reason. I just feel weird reading it cuz there's this sort of subtext that says that women can't do anything without kissing up to men. or maybe that's just me overreacting lol.
