Excuse me, but as far as I can tell our MC has given no reason for receiving THIS level of hostility. She was bought, married, and brought against her will, by an unscrupulous duke. She has nowhere to go and has been keeping to herself to point of being a shut in. I get that this a rather embarrassing situation to be in because of the ages but you are antagonizing the wrong person.
I feel like there is gonna be some big secret about her Dad. Like he was a noble or something and that's part of why she has such strong magic. Which would help the romantic portion tremendously!~♡

1. Japanese black company worker dies from overwork. Reincarnated as a 6 yr old boy about to be auctioned in the slave market of a fantasy world. Adopted by a kind old duchess and trained to be a barrier magician and bodyguard for the household.
2. The niece has returned from swordsman training and takes the boy under her wing to learn combat alongside his sorcery teacher. Both are spartan educators.
3. 12 yrs old and graduated from lessons and is now entrusted with tasks from the 2nd prince.
4. 14 yrs old. In recognition of his achievements the royals send a command that he will be freed of slavery and subsequently be adopted into the household.

6. After losing everything and everyone he flees to the mystic forest where he stumbles upon 2 wounded mystic beasts. As gratitude for his help they become his companions as he sets out to the neighboring kingdom.
7. Joins the neighboring kingdom as he informs them about the state of affairs. Creates a business using his barrier powers. Stumbles upon a demon princess and buys a cursed female slave to help with his store.
8. Gets dragged into a succession feud for the throne and saves a smart but naive and self-righteous princess from taking the blame.
9. New King offers his sister the princess as a bride to secure her future and safety. He gets an honorary title and marries both the princess and his slave.
10. After reviving a neglected fief and bringing wealth and success he is now targeted by petty incompetent nobles who are after his land.
Beautifully sidestepped being turned into a breeding horse for the villages. We don't need a political harem on top of a romantic one.
