Farmer equipment and weapons only work against bug and plant monsters!! It has to be an agriculturally related monster for the weapon to be powerful. Also, mutated monsters are always more powerful than regular ones!!
But there are frogs on farms too right? But considering it's the queen frog so maybe that's why.
