Ok so what I understand, think of it as, Agia's whole life has been defined by the prophecy to the point where he can't really tell what is "his own" desires are versus what is "desires dictated by the prophecy" in his mind. He's obsessively in love with Ken but can't distinguish his own feelings so his mind compartmentalises it as the draw between the subjects of the prophecy. Ken on the other hand asserts that he is sure of his feelings for Agia.
