Dude… it was a joke. Also just because someone is good at something doesn’t mean that they’re good at everything else.
And even so, the story right now is not that great. Like there is genuinely nothing pointing towards events. Things just happen out of nowhere to extend the episode count, and the episodes are literally a 1 minute read.
You can like something and still criticize it. If anything you should criticize what you like so that it can improve.
