Whoever thinks this manhwa is gruesome, shouldn't read Killing Stalking because it isn't for the faints of heart. I find this manhwa's depictions of violence to be mild compared to Killing Stalking.

For anyone confused about the last few chapters. He was saved, an old men found the box of CD which Gyul left on the beach after Jinyoo rejected them. And within one of the CD Jinyoo wrote about their kidnapping which he also included a lock of hair for proof. Then the old men gave out the CD's and the Jinyoo wrote about the kidnapping was given to a lady who called the police after what she saw. The police found their whereabouts and brought them to the hospital. And after events, Jinyoo found out more truth about him from Sungtae, which confirmed he was gay since way before because he had a crush on Sungtae. He then proceeded to ask out Hayan since he found out he was truly gay and that he wasn't just broken.

Even if he was truly physically free, truth is like the last part of the dialogue said, he never escaped his mental prison because you could see while he was intimate with Hayan, all he could see was Gyul-whool. The poor boy was traumatized. And the last part of the manhwa depicts how he wanted closure and he wanted to stop feeling trapped even if he was free by resolving to face his fear by entering the place he was kidnapped. I'm okay with this ending, it lets the reader decide what you think happened.

The 1st theory; he either knocked Gyul out by hitting him because of the last words Gyul-whool said in the last part which was "You never learn do you" and even Jinyoo said it himself, "I've never resented a sentence more than this" then everything went blank. The 2nd theory; Gyul-whool knocked Jinyoo out and he became his captive again because again remember his sentence "You never learn do you".
