I'm gonna have to disagree with you here. No settler on stolen land is innocent (except children of course), and israelis are just as bad as their government. You choose to live on stolen land and in stolen houses, you have to bear the consequences.

Just here to nuance the take on responsibility, not denying they don't have at all.
There are israelis that are active for a mutual process of healing, knowledge and try to repair what was done. Maybe medias don't show those as mush as negative and hateful israelis (because, you know, it doesn't sell as well). As for those who don't, we have to keep in mind that the Israeli government is actually keeping the atrocities it commits out of the Israeli media. If they are not actively researching for information on other langages, they don't know that there ARE massacres, civilians killed, etc (as for before the war, I don't know now). And because the media keep these events away, there is also distrust in the media's information ; civilian organisations went in the border to actually see what happens because they couldn't trust it otherwise. It was very shocking to speak with a family member of mine, they didn't know at all the one-sided killings that were everywhere in my country's media.
Also, the government isn't Israelis. Some support it, some are protesting and actively in a healing and responsibility process, some other just don't know. But you can't put the responsibility of a colonialist State and policy and its atrocities an every civilian of the country. A lot of Isralis are there because they were scarred from the 2ww, and still are. Part of the jews are also attached to the biblical Israel, the one promised by Yahweh, and have a hard time seeing the reality of the Israel State. Also, these people are not responsable for the colonialism of the State. Yes, they can't ignorewhat happened fifteen years ago. Just as much as every colonialist European country, the people should be aware of the history they've been legged and try to repair it, but they can't be held directly responsable for that.
