The story line was a bit dry. Nothing wrong with ML and FL personality. Of course you have the evil characters, there was a little drama and don’t forget the pregnancy. But something was missing yenno?
One of THE BEST HQ MLs. Respectful, understanding, patient, and communicated. FL irritated the heck out of me. She and her son lost those 8 years of happiness and love because of her stupidity. She was flaky with her love for ML. Her stupidity caused them to be in that situation.
She's a gullible airhead. To trust her ex with something of that importance. It was a task only she should have done.

She was a teen, young, and not confident, its easy for us to say that but considering what we know about her it make sense why it happen the way it did.

For the most part, the plot was realistic. Someone commented below that the plot was boring and too cliches however, it had issues, worries, misunderstandings that do happen in real life. The story is a reminder for us to stop, to really listen to our partner and communicate. Instead of being uptight how we feel, think about how the other person is feeling and seeing it from their perspective. I always say, it takes two to tango.
Well put. When I was in my late teens and early 20's I knew I had all the answers. Getting married started my cure from that delusion. Communication helps with empathy and also with making intelligent decisions. If I'd married someone who said yes and amen to my lightest pronouncement, I would now be a sixty something moron, absolutely convinced of my genius and rightness (what a chilling thought!).

So... that clingy, spoiled scheming Btch was never in a relationship with the ML. That cheating trash and scheming Btch deserves each other with their Shitty personality. They are so freaking selfish and only care about themselves. Both the ML and FL dodged a bullet. I hope the misunderstanding between FL and ML will be resolved. The back story is even better knowing how ML actually feels
