there’s definitely a few loose ends and unresolved issues, but this was a nice motivational manga !!
now personal thoughts ??
the SA scene and the implications of her rape were so sad. life was just going so bad for yumeno and it kept getting worse. but i’m glad she got through it! i personally would not have lolzz. i’m upset we didn’t get to see justice rlly get served for those bad people.
it was also almost unbearable to keep reading when things just kept getting bad for her, i didn’t even have time to comprehend things fully before another bad thing happened, but things worked out in the end for our protagonist. she’s rlly been through it. i wish we saw more healing from her regarding certain challenges she faced. yumeno always got over it kind of fast (as i assume it’s part of her character) but maybe it’s just me haha.
i’m rlly glad the romance in this manga was kind of nonexistent and it more so focused on yumenos challenges and her perseverance :3 but like i said, it leaves some loose ends for forgotten characters and tropes that aren’t resolved or further elaborated on.
all in all, this was a pretty decent read ^^
my heart literally dropped when the seme (emperor guy) said “I didn’t have to look for you, Hyungnim. I have been with you this entire time.” this can easily be a psychological thriller story WTHHH
also the older brothers servant is FINEEEE SHYTTTT RAHHHH
