I haven't read the original novel but even from the adaptation I can tell they're an amazing author and maybe sadistic cause they put is through hell. I am still a little disappointed that the manga adaptation added something that I think was extremely uneccecwry and wasn't in the novel (got told by novel readers) and a real shame cause I feel it's ruined the future moment that the novel got

So the failed attempt at sex they had was never in the novel. Their first time or attempt in the novel is super sweet and affectionate and when they both have their memories back. I hated that scene so much then found out it didn't even happen
