only on chapter 7 but does sion stay in the holy king’s body forever? i really dont like the implication that he got reborn in a worthier individual to bear the stigmata like does a peasant is destined to never be the holy king?

Spoiler
When Sion states 'worthier body' I actually really like the implication it makes; and actually for the exact opposite reason you mentioned. This becomes clearer the more you read so I really hope you can continue!! I love this story.
In sion's heart he very much retains his commoner identity - a priest from the rural areas, so in that sense a commoner IS the holy king.
When he states 'worthier body' I think he was referring to his newly obtained status and the benefits it provides. With status, one has the 'power' and 'ability' to change things - this is as realistic as it is and daunting. In his previous life - because he didn't have status nor political stance/power, he was at the mercy of figures in power and swayed according to their wrath. Now, with power, he is able to think for the commoners, because he can protect himself.
Your worries r super valid, but I think once you read on you'll see that this story does the opposite of trying to glorify status. It is actually commentary on the fact that the common people are suffering precisely because of the uncaring privileged in power. I am excited to hear your reaction once you read up to the end of season 2! This exact concern is resolved there. Sorry I yapped sm... HAHA I hope you have fun reading!!

Super agree. At some point, you'll get to understand why it had to happen.
Spoiler
Because of Sion's status as a commoner back then, Parvel made all of those decisions to take Sion away from the holy kingdom cus if he ever reveals Sion as the holy king and place him as the rightful ruler. Sion would be eaten by ALL of the nobility(puppet ruler, political drama bullshit OG sion had no knowledge of, Sienna's snake of a family), if you're wondering why won't parvel just protect him then? Even bigger spoilers. Haven't caught up with manwha chapters so idek if it's been revealed yet so I won't say more.
why cant pavel just confess the truth to sion? i believe it may solves so many issues like sion’s anxiety and plan for the future better
I was thinking the same but considering how selfless sion is, Pavel believes it is the best option. I think both are having anxieties towards the future after what happened. It no longer follows the past. I do hope they can prevail through this uhhhhggg
Tbh it kinda make « sense » when you understand Pavel’s goal (he’s still a dumbass tho, and Sion makes a point of telling him lol )
