
I think I know now why I like this BL so much. It's because the BL part isn't the main focus. Most BLs are just romance, but gay. Even the action or fantasy ones are romance first. This one is more adventure fantasy first, romance second. Like, there's actually a plot it works towards other than "these two will end up together".

OK, I don't like where this is going. Once in a while, a story like this will come where the uke was as if born yesterday and had nothing up here. Sigh... should've checked the rating first. Anything below 9.0 is mostly trash here. Actually, if the uke ends up with his ex, that'd be a nice subversion.
