checked the "and a new chapter released within the same week that the translators went on strike" box off my bingo card. kuroji harutsugu short story got released digitally yesterday, & the newest chapter will b released on the 24th
idk why the uploader decided to start with the 7th chapter of this entire series but it is what it is, i guess. 2nd chapter is 1st installment that the author made

I don't know why they jumbled it but I think as long as we can still understand it, it's okay. After all I don't think this story has plot so there shouldn't be a problem or maybe they'll fix it later
Typesetter catranyaas here. Thought it was a oneshot, (it was a stand alone on Myreadingmanga) translated and uploaded before finding out there was a whole other volume with 6 other chapters. We do this for free in our own time so please understand we may not have the resolve to translate 6 other chapters first.
i think im being misinterpreted here, i've seen this doujin before translated & uploaded to a different site, years ago. i was going on the assumption that the people who uploaded it here who did it out of order weren't the original group, especially since the credits pages have been removed on both chapters, & wanted to put my two-cents in to give others context, namely for the glaring ((7)) that was in the title of the overall doujin rather than just uploading it as "i wanna be iwachan's cat" or the japanese equivalent.
I believe we are the only group besides the original first chapter (i want to be iwa-chans cat 1) to translate this into english, if you could please link the original group/eng scans so they can be uploaded that would be great

i didn't see your scanlation group's credits on the 7th chapter, but you're right. the first one is xiao jiang world's, right down to the dick re-draw (which doesn't exist on the 7th chapter) just without their credits page. i've checked their page, but it looks like if it was originally up on theirs, they took it down, but on the myreadingmanga version the credits are still up

Indeed we should be grateful for what they have provided to us but don't make those feelings of gratitude hold back the readers to point out that there is something with it. Oh yeah. You should see the comments on there. When the raws were free for all, people were singing the translator praises but once its gone suddenly they turn vicious.

don't get mad when someone says that the original translators might drop the project, then go to a place you can contact them and say shit like "well, it was bound to happen, you should be translating it faster" in response to a rando picking up their work-in-progress. it's that kinda response that gets the ARTIST of the mangas you love so much to drop the series they make. you get that you're getting this for free, right? if you're gonna read an adult-rated manga, then act like an adult and be mindful of where the shit you get for free comes from, and support the sources as much as possible. no one's stopping you from reading qvfamma's translations, either, but their quality and hero's quality is on-par with each other so i can only imagine they take the same amount of pride in their work. if you wanna read the spanish translations, go for it. if you can't read spanish, google translate exists, but don't take and repost qvfamma's work or you're gonna risk losing them, too.
Rip, this isn’t our normal translation group, as far as I know, Hero Scans takes a lot of pride in the time and effort they put into cleaning and translating, among other things, & aren’t ever the happiest when they see a rando pick up a series they’re working on. O well, ig. Here’s to hoping hero doesn’t drop it
Hero scans is one of the best scanlators, great taste and no drama.
What bothers me about this particular case is that the Spanish group doesn't allow retranslations either. So this is fucking up with two groups at the same time.
