why does everyone think that isis is hesitating cos she wants to defend osiris? from the way im reading it, she's hesitating because she's scared to crush seth's sense of pride even further, essentially driving him to his own death (which was essentially his response this chapter). seth is a high and mighty character who can't stand being seen as less-than. read up on the mythology between seth and osiris, there's a deep seeded hatred for being a man treated as a woman in a relationship

i went into this optimistically hoping that they didn't, but check pages 11 & 12 sfx. you can layer them on top of spanish scans & get identical placement/font of the sfx. no reason for the sfx to be in spanish if this is an english translation either

i like how people in the comments are trying their hardest to apply real-world logic to a story that's explicitly stated its characters to be more animal than human. you'd sooner compare the characters behaving like real-life humans to trying to domesticate a large predator. sure, you can tame them to an extent or heavily drug them to be docile, but they're still liable to being deadly creatures

there's another short story featuring these two characters called Nametake Challenge by dotsuco. as far as i know, Nametake comes before Stay Goodboy, but neither of them are really plot heavy or give away anything about the characters aside from their sex life. Nametake isn't on mangago tho

the spanish translators essentially locked everyone out and prevented both the random translator group & their audience from accessing their work, because qvfamma & the previous translators had an agreement that each translator group would buy their own scans and not rip off of each other. out of respect for the previous translators, they got mad at the people who took their scans and poorly retranslated their work, and the people who are regularly on the spanish translator's blogpage were equally as upset. very understanding towards the respect qvfamma had towards the previous scan group, but very angry at the random translator group who took qvfamma's scans. soimean unless you want the spanish readers harassing you then it's probably not the best idea to take from the spanish scans
