IDK why I am continuing to read this. I think I am just hoping the king suffers horribly. I hope the guy manages to escape. I hate this kind of jealous posessive obsession that the Mad King calls "Love". He doesn't love the guy, he wants to own/posess him like he's an object and not a human. How can be ok with the guy being sad, hurt, upset if he truly loves him? How can he commit things he knows the guy will hate if he loves him and wants him to love him back?
