can you all just stop going on about euja’s tweet? it’s out there. what’s done is done. and honestly, she’s not the only author on this site who’s called out illegal readers. yes, that includes both you and me.
yeah, it is illegal, and her reaction is understandable, especially if her webtoon is her main source of income. it’s not really fair to be mad at her for wanting people to stop reading her work for free. she’s protecting her livelihood, not just throwing a tantrum.
but what is hypocritical is acting like you’re somehow better than the rest of us while still being here. if you’re telling others to log off and stop reading illegally, then by that same logic, you should be doing the same. you can’t call out piracy while still benefiting from it yourself.

also, to those who say “you can support her by paying” — what about people who genuinely don’t have the money, or those living in countries where this webtoon isn’t even available? low tide in twilight is officially on l****n (english) and b*****n (korean), but access depends on your region—some countries can’t access it at all, and even where it is available, costs can be prohibitively high in weaker-currency countries. not everyone has the same privileges, and for many, it’s not as simple as “just pay.”

i don’t think it justifies reading illegally, but in my region, only the first episode is officially available, so there’s no way to legally read the rest. that makes it really hard for fans who genuinely want to support the creator but can’t access the content, and i totally get that.
however, when the official english translation is available and people still choose to post scanlations, that’s where i disagree. once a webtoon is legally published and the creator is finally getting paid, continuing to scanlate it just feels wrong to me. hopefully, official releases become more accessible in more places so everyone can support their favourite creators the right way.

i strongly dislike this rhetoric. it's the exact same thing as someone reposting art, getting thousands of more likes than the original post, then turning around and saying "well it got you more exposure!" please don't use "exposure" to justify piracy. people who end up buying the chapters after illegally consuming it is the exception, not the rule

i think it's bc some fan translations can be on ch 50 when it gets an official translation. in most cases i've seen translation teams drop it, but readers can be impatient and reuploaders can be greedy.
if i personally can't buy the chapters, i'll support the authors in other ways like buying merch. the limitations really suck

yeah there's no helping the ml. i doubt he'd have his development arc, he's too deranged. i would laugh at ur face if you told me that this psychopathic, egotistical, selfish bastard changed into a loving husband/partner. i really pray that the author decides not to rush this story and have the mc beg for the ml.
thank god the author for feeding the yearners
