I was never into manhwa a few years back cuz I found most of them to just be smut with no plot. Literally smut 5 chapters in a row. But because more and more manhwa were uploaded and the entire popular pages now ONLy consisted of manhwa, I have to change my taste and adapt. Now that I'm used to the format of manhwa for 3 or 4 years, will I have to go back to mainly reading mangas/manhua from now on... Anyways, I've been reading on this site for 7 years or so now. I don't want this to be another case of mangarock.
Better to just remove the korean bls, they're not targeting that many stories. I still want to read my reincarnated female lead stories on this site. Let's go back to finish uploading the unfinished jpn bls. It's been forever since sekaiichi hatsukoi, honto yaju, Koisuru Boukun and all the OGs were updated. We'll be old and these stories will be left forever unfinished on this site at this rate.

I got the books from Japan last week. The extras add more details to the stories so I will sum it up below

[SPOILER]

Extra 1:

During the school’s sports festival, Ayame caught Shuu and made him go with him, saying “there’s only you”. Apparently Ayame was taking part in the “borrowing game” (during which participants randomly choose a “hint” or “description” and need to find someone who matches the hint on school ground, “borrow”” that person to return together). Kaede found a paper Ayame dropped that said “Glasses”, which is why Ayame chose Shuu.

Back to present, Ayame and Shuu are caught in the rain after work. They get on a taxi together, when Shuu asks why Ayame picked him that time. There were others also wearing glasses. After pausing a bit, Ayame replied that Shuu’s thick glasses stood out a lot so that’s that. Truth is, the hint Ayame picked up said “The person you like”. He tore it into pieces and got another hint. Later on, while running he abruptly turned back to look at Shuu being out of breath behind and thought, but there has always been only you. (GOD DAMN SOMEONE KILL ME #SOB)

Extra 2:

Shuu talked to Kaede about how Ayame has gotten back his omega pheromone insensitivity (the only time he recognised and reacted to Shuu’s pheromone was in chapter 6). Kaede said there’s no such thing as pheromone insensitivity. It’s simply because Ayame’s threshold is much higher than normal people, so he has the capacity to take in a lot pheromones before reacting to them. That night Ayame returned from a business trip to Korea. They were acting cute together and had some steamy episodes before Ayame realises and asked why Shuu didn’t say anything about being in heat. Shuu said the love word a lot that night and Ayame was acting like the happiest guy in the world.

Later on, Kikyou told Kaede that he thinks those two must be fated pair. Kaede said, there’s no such thing as fated pair. It doesn’t exist. Since the beginning those two had stayed close to each other, so what Shuu thought to be Ayame’s pheromone (the “sweet smell”) is simply Ayame’s personal body odour. Believing in fated pair feels nice, but only the weak ones that don’t have confidence in their relationship need to cling onto the “destiny”. A relationship between two people should belong in their own hands and not dictated by an unforeseen force.

The books also come with small extra after each chapter. Like after chapter 4 we learn that the reason why Ayame is attached to Mamu-chan is because one time Shuu chose Mamu-chan. Many days later Ayame was bothered as to why Mamu-chan is what Shuu wants he ended up buying it home himself lol.

There’re also short extras on the inner cover of both books. Their son Sumire appears on the inner sleeves of second book. It’s explained that Shuu chose to quit his job after having Sumire. He got the personality from Ayame and hair colours from Shuu.

So I've been searching for this yaoi for quite sometime now and I don't even remember where I've read it but please if you recall a story similar to this say something, it would be great :)

I don't remember their names so I'm just gonna call them seme and uke. So on the first chap the Uke was introduced to be the second in command of this tribe, and this so called tribe was hosting this competition, and the winner will be their new chieftain or King that will marry the princess of the tribe because their king was almost in his death bed.

*I'm going to explain how the competition works: So basically, several heirs of different tribes will fight through combat and the winner will advance until there are only two left.

So this is where the Seme comes in, he was one of the two remaining fighters and this is the time where the Uke finally notices him. The seme won the competition by killing his opponent which was a negative impression for the Uke and he started thinking of what an a-hole the Seme was etc.

So the Seme wins and was introduced to be the next chieftain or king but there was still a last test. This last test was suppose to be his training and their current king tasked the Uke to guide and train the Seme. So the Uke was pissed but he still went on the journey with the Seme on this tall ass mountain from what I remember and they will be staying there for a month. And that's where they both started to fall in love, I remember a part where the Seme made the Uke a necklace and yeah I remember them staying in a cave.

As time went by the Uke suddenly felt scared because it was almost time for them to go back to the tribe and he was about to lose the Seme because he was suppose to marry the princess and be their king.

Fast forward, the Seme did marry the princess and the Uke watched it all. Their chieftain also died days after the wedding and the Uke felt dead inside. And there's a chap, I remember the princess saw the necklace that the Seme made for the Uke and told him that it was a pretty necklace, she was holding it and then the Uke asked if she would want to keep the necklace but the princess said no because she thinks that the necklace was important to the Uke.

So fast forward again, the Seme kept telling the Uke that he loves him but the Uke was having second thoughts and he finally decides to leave the tribe… secretly.

That's where I stopped reading it because I suddenly lost it. I feel really frustrated because god it was there at the climax and I will never know what will happen next. So yeah if anyone have read this too or remembers something like this PLEASE HELP. And thank you for reading this long ass post.

OMG it just dawned on me... the titles of this manga and the sequel... It's all from Saeki's perspective.
In the first book, Saeki carried a torch for Wataru, but he never thought that his feelings would be reciprocated. That's why he could only admire Wataru from afar while he stands there in the midst of summer, shining brilliantly. Hence the name "You in the blue summer".
In the second book however, they're together now, that's why it's titled "In the blue summer, with you". I didn't think it was possible to love this manga even more, but here we are...
