Rian outsmarted him once and that caught his attention. I’m not sure what he’s feeling right now is necessarily love, it feels more like obsession and seeing Rian as a challenge to conquer. Like an exciting game if you will. He’s surrounded by sycophants and people well below him mentally and physically, so going up against Rian and besting him is a fun game to break the monotony. As a bonus, he finds Rian physically attractive so there’s also the sexual domination. He’s getting possessive and jealous of Rian’s promiscuity because he can’t stand the fact that Rian might have his attention elsewhere other than him (cause he’s also narcissistic as hell).

Im no specialist but I ll try to tell u abt it. So HTE or horus the elder is a version of horus who was worshipped in ancient egypt. He's kinda like a super ancient super powerful primordial god who predates most of the ennead in terms of seniority n worship as a falcon head god thats been worshipped under different names and passed down thru generations. Horus is worshipped in many different variation forms btw n HTE is kinda like one of of the most popular ones. In actual myth the siblings are not 4 but 5 with horus the elder who's the 5th sibling and youngest. They represent 5 days of the week. When greeks began ruling egypt they popularized osiris isis set nephyths lore with horus as osiris child which even tho was prevalent but common ppl still would worship horus as the 5th sibling.
Mojito follows ennead loosely and its strange for her to not include hte while ch1 narration which a lot of readers feel is a case of false narration. If she DID mean to write this manhwa with only the 4 sibling structure then its kinda sus why mentions of HTE keep occurring in s2. Mojito hides spoilers in mural art that we see in chapters. Lotus lazuli on twt has translated those murals and I have linked the thread where u can read it n understand it more.
As for plot so far we have loose cryptic sentences as hint by mojito which suggests that our horus could be HTE who was murdered in his past life by seth because of a 'taboo' hte hid. Isis managed to ressurect him by taking him in her bossom so that he'll be born again and thats how she ascended as god of magic and miracles. There's a vague sentence which says "for the sake of their little brother theyre willing to become god" there are murals talking abt more past life hints. And if u go back to thoths moon temple chapter conversation with horus it'll make sense. He basically rambled hints too. Abt sun's wadjet being stolen by someone and how horus is rn the successor. Now going back to the hidden village chapter when horus met nephyths in infinite void remember he uses the jewel light to see murals on the caves? Theres a falcon headed god depicted there n neph talks abt a god that was erased long ago for stealing something imp. In that very chapter the girl kid says to horus he seems familiar to her because she grew up lookin at the void murals. Also in the khemmis chapter when seth met kid horus he mistook him for anubis in his heavily intoxicated state n was crying holding him. His tears fell on horus and awakened horus eyes which made him see deep into seths soul beyond his subconscious and horus mentions seeing a really irrational extreme fear of being forgotten etched in seths soul. Even seth is unaware of that and he unknowingly cursed anubis to never grow up n become god. Now why would seth have this fear. It simply cant be because of anubis n hints towards some past life occurrence. Theories say hte's death had such a deep effect on him that he had to be forced into ascension to forget everything and seths ascension is botched too like anubis. Thanks to osiris once again.
