Long rant ahead directed towards Lamia haters
Like why are some of you hating on Lamia for treating aquila like that? WE may know he is probably the male lead and has his reasons for doing it bc he (from what i gathered) time travelled to the past, but LAMIA DOESNT.
All she knows is that he is a cruel and ruthless second prince that is rumoured to be planning to overthrow the first prince who she knows. not to mention HE BROKE HER BROTHER'S HAND AND GAVE HIM PTSD. He may saved his father and gave her a vow, but YOU CANNOT FORGIVE SOMEONE THAT HARMED A BELOVED FAMILY MEMBER WITHOUT REASON. Not to mention, because she is a child of a ducal house, constant vigilance is a must.
IF A GUY PUSHED YOUR SIBLING FROM THE STAIRS AND SUFFERED BROKEN BONES AND THEY DEVELOPED A FEAR TOWARDS THAT GUY, WOULD YOU FORGIVE HIM? NO. IF YOU ARE A DECENT HUMAN WITH MORALS AND COMMON SENSE YOU WOULDNT.
But later on you discover that he pushed your sibling to prevent your sibling and you from a greater harm. THEN you can start to forgive him. U get my analogy story???
THE PROBLEM IS. AQUILA DIDNT EXPLAIN THE REASON BEHIND HIS ACTIONS YET. THAT IS WHY LAMIA IS STILL SUSPICIOUS AND HARBORS ILL WILL TOWARDS HIM. Tbh. If she starts to randomly forgive him, i would be very disappointed in her.
Tldr : dont justify acts of violence that is without reason because the one performing it is a 'pwecious baby uwu', be like lamia
PREACH!!! Honestly, it annoyed me so much when everyone started complaining about Lamia for not forgiving him due to his sudden change in personality. Like we see no character development from him, his past is pretty much fragmented and he only treats lamia with kindness. Lamia has every right to be angry at home for harming her brother, even if it’s for the greater good or whatnot that doesn’t immediately mean that he should be forgiven for his transgressions so easily especially because of the consequences to her brother’s psyche.
The king is absolute shit but i'll be following this because it has a fresh premise
