I'm a little confused here. Is the story following exactly how the author wrote it? Because it doesn't make sense. The ML already likes his wife, i think he'd be sad and angry if her personality changed abruptly and he'd hate the new isekaied girl. When was she supposed to replace the FL? He liked his wife from the very beginning so i don't see how he'd appreciate a new personalty for her...
Maybe she just thought that she could fake the personality, and that he somehow wouldn't notice? Or she thought that he would like her more because she's the one who "made" him, so she knows him best. Idk, she doesn't seem like the smartest person

We have wonderful possible romantic interests for the heroine, but she's aiming exclusively for the one male lead that is now the least interesting (￣∇￣")
I know right! when i play otome games, i typically go for the most handsome or weird one. So if i had played this game i would have went for Lutz first, because in the game he was a necrophiliac and he was cute. Now that he has changed he is even cuter, and i wish she would have went for him :(.

Ooof, i am SO not enjoying our Male Lead here. I was feeling a little iffy after we got some casual misogyny in the first chapters, with the ML giving us such gems as "You're so slow, just like a woman" and "So unpredictable, just like a female on her period" (chapters 15 & 23). As well as unreasonably wanting to police her social gatherings, when they basically just knew each other for a few days. (Like, excuse me, who are you to her again?? Oh thats right NO ONE, you met her 3 days ago #－.－) )
And since the plot dragged on i just wanted to see the revelation already, so i skipped to the ~130 ch, like a comment said. AND BOY OH BOY WHAT DO I SEE A LITTLE AFTER THAT. He DRUGGED her. HE DRUGGED HER AND WAS HALFWAY READY TO RAPE HER. My god.

Yes, he drugged her and want to find out her gender but then he was reluctant to do it and let her sleep. I read the novel quite awhile back.. So i remember some pieces of the storyline regarding her secret birth..
.....SPOILER.....
The father already had a mistress when the mother was pregnant and that time, their marriage was already broken and he’s ready to throw her away.. They were already living separately from each other.
The reason he didn’t know his child’s gender was because the mother gave birth in a secluded countryside hospital, and she fabricated a new birth certificate (though the original cert is still in the old hospital which will later be revealed).
The mother decided to fake the gender to have the right of inheritance for Fu Jiu. This is because Fu Jiu as a baby had a serious health condition which required money for treatment. The mother said something along the line:
“If not for her baby’s health condition, she was ready to leave the bastard and live happily with only just the 2 of them”
But because she doesn’t have money, the bastard’s support was essential to save her child’s life, as Fu Jiu would be the legal heir to inherit the fortune and the business as a MALE. If as a female, the mistress’s son will be first in the inheritance ranking instead. Cause she was also pregnant or already gave birth (can’t remember which one).
The father cannot decline the mother because technically, they’re still legally married and she hold 10% or 20% (can’t remember the exact number) of the company share. That’s also one of the reasons why the mother didn’t divorce the father despite the horrible treatment with the mistress. Because she’s waiting for the time to take over the company, as she’s also one of the co-founder who invested lots of money in the founding of the company. She still has the power to make decision and attend the shareholder meetings.
